Great mission, really enjoyed it. I do enjoy 2-man infil missions and i liked the choice of weapons in the beginning. Only thing i noticed was that my companion ran out of ammo and i had to swap out his gun, although the AI isn't as trigger disciplined as a player when it comes to shooting. 4 rounds of 7.62 at an unarmoured targets is unnecessary :steamhappy:

Sergio Leone's movies were indeed the inspiration for the setting of the town, and cemetery at the end. Also, the very finial shot was a reproduction of a scene from Once Upon A Time In the West.

It's always difficult to know how many enemies to put into a mission, it's hard to sometimes find the right balance.

I have around 2000 hours in arma and i have never rated a mission but this will be my first. I really like the story of it and the rest. Only thing is it would be nice if it is a little harder, maybe place some more enemys, patrols and checkpoints. but overall thanks for the effort and looking forward for the next mission

That's strange, it should go to a cut scene ending. Are you sure you got all or them in the graveyard? If I remember correctly, there are four of them.

Thanks man, I'm starting to understand the tools available in Arma to tell a story, and create an experience for the player.

I don't know when I'll have the time to do the next one, but I think I have an interesting idea, it should be fun seeing what I can come up with.

I ended up putting the action on an invisible wall placed slightly above the table. Now it's much easier to get the Take Intel action to come up. Mission is now updated.

@stburr91 I know it is hard to find the right distance so the action menu will show, but you can do that on area trigger so that when player exters a square sufficiently nearby the phone he will pickup the intel... or attach the action menu not to the phone object but to the table itself. This will solve the problem for sure.

Picking up the intel can be difficult, it's an Arma thing.

However, you got me thinking, and I came up with a much better way of doing it, so it's now much easier to pick up the intel now.

You would need to edit the mission file to make it a COOP. Add a second playable unit, and add some respawn points.

Well, that was an amazing scenario. Intro, outro and scenes between, all that what happend are well done. The setup is great and entertaining. I'm looking forward what is coming next. Not bad but few suggestions: It was VERY hard to find the action on the mobile phone - i even thought for a minute that this is not the intel i was searching for, The second suggestion: Hide 4 militias somewhere in the camp and make them flee after some time - and put out a task only after the flee successfully. And my last suggestion: That big graveyard in the middle of a desert is a big nono. It just does not fit there, not that it wa hard to find that quatro of african gunmen there, but it just does not fit into the enviroment.

The mission as it is now, is singleplayer only, but if you wanted, it wouldn't be too hard to convert to a coop for 2.
