He was saying (in terms of trying to make the lightbulb's directional beam logical) that maybe there's some kind of reflective surface inside the lightbulb to direct the beam. Which I was saying isn't even possible.

he meant the face are backward, probably the normals of the 3d model are reversed, that causes the texture to be seen inside hte model, if i understood right.

You can't paint the inside of a lightbulb. They are sealed and have argon gas inside.

or it's painted inside with a mirrorlike paint, which makes it shine forward

The bulb almost makes sense, but there's no logic in the directional beam. If you added a mirrior or something to reflect the light then yeah it would make sense.
