The only thing I don't like about this game is that the player can not resize the game window. Other than that everything is spot on. Excellent work.

there is a bug in the third level. I got hit by the little monsters it bounced me into the block above glitching me into the block so i can't move at all. Seven monster walking in a straight line manages to do this xD.

In it's current state (that's taking into account the fact that it's clearly not complete and it did just crash on me) I would pay $0.99 for it guaranteed. Finish it up, fix the bugs, refine the level design, and I'll totally spend $2.99 on it. Now if you can make it a damn good game, make it $4.99

I've been busy with a ton of other things I've sadly haven't been able to work too much on this. I'm still working on all of the stuff for it though: so I hope everyone hasn't given up on this yet!

I can't even seem to pause the game. I think it might have to do with my Xbox controller being plugged in, but after unplugging it, I still can't play it...

That's weird, the same keys: LEFT ARROW, RIGHT ARROW, and SPACEBAR should work. The game might be paused or the window unfocused (pause/unpause is the RETURN key). I'll look into it to see what might be the problem, but as far as I know, I have no idea why it might cause that.

I can't seem to even play the game. I load it up, watch the intro cutscene, & select my Grump. When the game begins, I cannot move my character. I've pressed every button on my keybord and he will not move. It works fine in the menus, but when the actual game begins, it just won't work...

Pleasantly surprised by the quality on display here! Besides the obvious stuff, just a few minor nitpicks: The jumping is kinda finnicky. It seems like most of the things you jump onto, you only baaarely make it every time. Maybe just a few extra pixels of jump height would be good? Similarly, the bounce after stomping an enemy seems a bit shallow and makes it tricky to combo your jumps. But I like where this is going.
