@parkerjlitwiler That's awesome to hear, thanks for letting me know! ET has a lot of cool start dates that are easy to overlook just because of how much time the mod covers, so good to hear the submod's helping as intended

I have had the most fun on EU4 using this mod. Has helped me get my friend used to mechanics of the game, as well as adding a lot more fun for me getting to start early. Over any other mod, this one is the best (never crashes)

@Riekopo Thank you for the report, but I have tested the bookmarks out, and they all seem to work on my end without crashing. Do you have any other mods enabled besides this mod and Extended Timeline? Just want to narrow down the possible causes of the crashing

Update: Improved event to discover land in early start dates before 58 AD, so now it discovers more land as well as sea tiles

@budamunky19 I see, thanks for the info. The only substantial thing this mod does is add more bookmarks, so maybe there's a limit to how many bookmarks you can have before RNW no longer works.

@Worlds Smuggest Detective Yes its the mod. If I delete the mod, the choice of Random New World returns and I can use it. But when I reinstall it, no matter the bookmark, the choice is grayed out.

@budamunky19 I'm not sure because I haven't tested it out myself. Have you tried using Random New World without the bookmarks mod? If it works without it, then it is probably caused by my mod.
Although I remember seeing that Extended Timeline itself doesn't work with Random New World 100%, though it may have changed since then.

Is it normal that I can't use the "Random New World" feature if and when I use one of the Bookmarks you've provided? Even if I use ones closer to the original 1444 start date, Random New World is blanked out and can't be used.

You should add a Vietnam War bookmark

Update: Unfortunately, I had to remove the 2 AD bookmark since it was causing some bugs for later start dates, like messing up some of the capital placements for later bookmarks. Looks like 58 AD is the earliest bookmark that can be included without causing issues.

Added a 2 AD bookmark "Era of Empires"
- Also added an event that triggers in a few days after starting in any start date between 2 and 58 AD that removes Terra Incognita from a sizeable chunk of provinces surrounding every country in the world (as seen in first screenshot in description)

@bosco8179 Sorry, totally forgot to add it in the change notes. I've fixed some bugs and changed the recommended countries for the Mongol Civil War (1260) start date, since ET now has the Blue and White Hordes as separate tags instead of the Golden Horde.

Made some changes to guarantee Napoleon appearing in 1815 bookmark. Also added two new interesting starts, The Emperor and the Empress (800, after Charlemagne is made HREmperor and while Irene of Athens is still the Byzantine Empress), and The Fulani War (1805 rise of Sokoto Caliphate)

@critter216 Unfortunately, there's no special events for his historical conquests. Still, the bookmark "The Last Roman Expedition" starts with Byzantium already at war with the Vandals, so it allows the player to quickly conquer most of northern Africa with the general Belisarius and then choose whether they want to go the historic route and attack Italy.
Still, giving Justinian historical events is a good idea. I haven't added anything to the mod for a while, so I might add that down the line, or maybe as a separate submod.

Which bookmark has special events for Justinian the Great? Would it be his specific bookmark or "The Last Roman Expedition" to get all of his historical conquests?

For some reason when extended timeline and this are loaded at the same time it crashes. It happens when I try to click the arrows to set the date numbers
