No didn't try it. Wanted to stay as vanilla as I could. When I went and looked for images to use, there really wasn't anything, and i found how they used to play it way back on paper, so used those. If you find something that may work better I could..... And I bet I could do masking yeah.

It is cool that these are able to be built like regular chess and game of ur boards, but by any chance could you look into changing the sprite to look more like the game of battleship? Perhaps giving the stand/legs of the game the color of the material and the top part is greyed out and the ships are different colors? Or did you try it and not like the look?
