Thanks for your kind words.
I haven't been playing Shogun lately so the most likely answer is that me working on Fots and Rots is unlikely in the short and medium term. I like the sengoku jidai campaign the most and by far, as well.
Still, none of my mods are too complex at all, they are very simple vanilla-ish flavored changes that I think anyone can emulate easily with the pack file manager and minor trial and error. I am a begginer modder myself.
Once again thanks, getting comments like these in my mods every once in a while is great.
Take care,
Bleu
This is clearly harder than just remaining budhist. As such I think that the general idea that CA had was to somehow compensate this by making the subsequent research easier. And in that regard I agree entirely. Christian mode should be, in my opinion, an alternate way to play the game with a higher risk and reward not just HARD MODE, so further bonuses are in order.
Finally, I thought I had taken care of unneeded rows. I always checked for that in my mods but now that you mentioned it I recall there being a row with the agents available per building, so Ill take care of that.
Thanks so much for your input. Feel free to give more, and more input with my other mods
Clearly there are many valid approaches to solving this. I see that we agree in many of them. Others like to give bonuses to everything in castles. I like the current general format of castles giving bushido and temples giving chi.
I also agree with you regarding the last two rows. They take too long so I might mod that as well. Perhaps discounting their vanilla research time y 4 turns (they start at 22-24 IIRC)
I might add this to the mod.
One thing I disagree with is the christian vs budhist rate. Going christian means that you will have to
1. Go christian in the first place
2. Take an hefty honor hit, which means less order, generals revolting and a diplomatic penalty
3. Take an **extra** diplomatic hit of -40 with everyone
4. Spend extra turns converting your provinces from budhism, fighting low order, rebels PLUS enemies.
