@Sierra 117788 you are probably not setting the size propoery for your screen size. I don't think im explained that proppely. I updated it a bit. Try using any rectangular screen and make sure the size property is set to 0 size should be set automatically.

I can't figure out how to get the red dot in the center to be centered on any displays. It always seems to appear in the bottom left corner of the monitor? Any suggestions?

@Twistking Any chance you (or anyone else) could share the code changes you made? I'm bad with LUA but would love to be able to change the scan range

Great work Leoniden. I really like it. However I was wondering ... it seems that I pick up objects that were built up. But does it detect terrain? I am at the creative base and the only thing it picks up is the standing light post. I tried with the 2000 meters laser (configured lidar) and the standard radar. I pick up contacts but it seems the terrain is not shown. What could I miss here? thanks ...awesome components!

nevermind. changed it directly in the code and got it working. thanks again.

Great! Thanks for sharing.

It works really well also with the long range sensor, however i would like to be able to switch the "distance" setting in real time with an input instead of having it as property.
Could you point me in the general direction of how i could change out the property value with an input value?
I see all those properties in the controller editor, but i'm lost since they are not connected to anything...

Rotary Media 10. juli 2020 kl. 17:12
how use
neoliden  [ophavsmand] 4. juli 2020 kl. 10:12
The video input doesen't need to be connected. It is just there if you want to draw something behind the radar :)
knuckleboomcraneoperator43 4. juli 2020 kl. 7:01
Hey! Where is the video input supposed to go?
neoliden  [ophavsmand] 25. mar. 2020 kl. 11:08
sure
StormBlazer 19. mar. 2020 kl. 15:56
Can I Put It In A Base?

Oh yeah just tried and it seems like it's suppose to rotate clockwise. Either i was stupid when i wrote the description or somthing as changed. If you still want it to rotate counter clockwise place your pivot with the + going clockwise and send a negative signal to the input instead.
To fix the rotation problems you need to make sure the distance sensor is facing the pivots forward and that the pivot is facing forward to.
You could use the rotation offset to fix this insted. The rotation offset option essentially rotates the display. Hope it helps :)

Also meant to add - my radar is moving counter clockwise but the line on the screen is sweaping clockwise?
SpaceMan Spiff 22. okt. 2019 kl. 9:06
@neoliden i have a problem when i connect this all it works sort of - if the ship is facing north and the dock is east of me when the display is rendering the doc is being rendered west? or more simply, on the monitor dock is displaying on the left and it should be on the right. any help appreciated
neoliden  [ophavsmand] 30. aug. 2019 kl. 0:26
Sure, go ahead. Credit in description is appreciated :)

That is very cool, I will definitely make good use of this. And will of course credit you as the creator.
