what you have to do is download the mod when you are in gmod. If you quit then you have to reinstall it

theoretically speaking, couldn't you prevent the lua override by changing where the lua is pulled from, preventing the original lua from overriding the fix?

ahhh, I see whats happening. When you do download this, do not restart the game when you download it. Download it while you are in gmod, this kinda sounds pretty stupid but if you do it, it will work.
