can others mods like primal fear work on it?

Map appears to have been abandoned. At one time, it had some very unique custom features, but, they were removed due to updates to the Dev Kit that corrupted the project. As far as I know, it doesn't require any DLCs

does it work without dlc

Doubtful with ASA on the way, perhaps a re-release

I hope some day you come back to this. I know you're doing other things now but damn, this map had INCREDIBLE potential. It just looked so good.

i think if the ark devs used this as a template for a map after extinction it would be a sick new story map

I saw the screenshots and was ecstatic that it looks like potentially the prettiest map ever. Until...

So much potential - until I saw that the volcano's smoke was nothing but giant gray squares floating into the sky. Shame really; a wasted project.

DrOld tuffymoon; No. It would appear that the author gave up on his original ideas that were very interesting, when the project became plagued with errors. He then reverted the map back to the original Island about two years ago, did some work in the northwest area, then stopped posting updates over a year ago.

I only have 2 complaints:

1.The Volcano ash looks unfinished

2.THERE ARE NO PENGUINS

Even if its not being worked on anymore, its still really fun to experience the Island after it landed back on Earth. It really does feel like going home again.

I suggest taking out the Mammoth and Rhino spawns. They overspawn in the north, not just a little overspawn either. I have not seen where that was ever addressed and I don't feel the need to have Mammoths or Woolly Rhinos. I may try this map in SP just to see if removing those spawns works.

I love this map, it is beautiful! but it is simply unplayable! Every time I load in it crashes my game immediately, and this happens several times! When it does load in I have roughly 5 minutes on it until it crashes again, beautiful map, but currently unplayable, very dissapointed

From the discord- Wildcard broke the map they were working on and the creator moved on to make their own game, and paid someone to work on this mod. According to creator the person working on the mod isnt getting it done, the creator tried to pick the project back up but couldnt finish it. This project most likely is no longer being worked on.

So between the volcano and snow area, there is a huge black plate that I can walk through. Pretty sure that isn't suppose to be there

@gersemi the TLCd area is mostly just the Snow areas

When launching the game and selecting the map, nothing on the map has changed for me. It looks exactly like The Island. When I check the menu "Host Local", it says the save is on "Faith" and not The Island. Why does it not load the TLC?

you seem to crash when you look or are near the mountion with the dragon also some stuff are odd like there is a piller of ice just floating near the woods and snow area. the sword texture is broken near the hilt some objects you can walks right threw other then the annoying crashing randomly a few odd textures and water texture issues the map is cool still needs a lot of fixing though really hope this map isent a dead one..

anyone know what dinos are added in this map? like a hole list? is there away to remove some or de crease the spawn rates? to make dinos a bit more rare?

you should lower the karkino's spawns becouse they are everywhere like 5 6 in the same spot

How will you go about adding the titans or whatever they are called

would it be possible to be able to disable to depth of field on the map ? or have a line in the server config file to disable or enable.

The colors of sunset could be reduced a bit as (to me) its a bit too much, otherwise i really like the map so far
