As this was a mod from 2019, it does not include FrontEndActions in the modinfo file, nor does it have a Config file for said FrontEndActions. If you know what you're doing with mod file editing, you can compare any of the other modded Natural Wonders and include similar FrontEndActions for Mount Erebus' files and edit the Config to use its data. I fixed my local copy to now work with Select NaturalWonder++.

The volcano didn't spawn. It also not appeared in include/exclude wonders mod.

1- Does it support R&F ruleset?
2- I can't find it using Sukritact's Select Natural Wonders++. I don't see it in the selection in ANY ruleset

Hi AOM,
your mod has been translated by ASM590319 into German and the translation is now part of the German translations for Civilization VI mods mod pack.
We would be more than happy if you could refer to the language translation in your mod description.

Mount erebus produces a lot of gold in its eruption (real)
you should make it that everytime it erupt it increases the gold yield of its improved tiles

Ah yes, my favourite lava lake
watsface 30 Jan 2021 @ 2:00am
seconded would be lovely to have this appear within the picker.
Borealis 28 Jan 2021 @ 6:19am
It does show up on maps, just as recently as my last game it did. But it indeed does not show up in the wonder picker, it would be amazing if you were to make it compatible with that!

With all the updates this Wonder is not showing up on any map on my Wonder list. Can you fix this?

Thanks for making this wonderful mod, AOM. More natural wonders are always welcome in the game. Are you planning to update this to be compatible with the Natural Wonders selector introduced in the August 2020 NFP update?

It‘s not that OP since its a big sacrifice to build a city near it....
GaussTheWizard 24 Mei 2020 @ 7:05pm
This wonder is definitely powerful - maybe S-tier, even - but it's still decently balanced.
GaussTheWizard 20 Mei 2020 @ 2:44am
Most of the OP wonders you mentioned take up at most 4 tiles, which makes them more difficult to claim, compensating for their high yields. Mt. Erebus, on the other hand, can give 13 science by investing in just two tiles. That's most likely where the complaints come from.

It NEVER appeared on my games! I wonder why

Thanks for the link @Gedemon :)

If you think it's OP but you still like it, you can easily open up the mod database with notepad and change the values or add new values of your own. It's a lot more rewarding than crying about it.

Hi lilacnightshade, the mod now supports a couple of the YNAMP maps. Please see the notes above :)

Hi all, thank you for the comments, glad you like Erebus.

Please note the comments below that discuss the reasoning behind giving this much science. Also, we have posted instructions showing how to adjust each element of the science bonus Erebus gives. These are illustrated and easy to follow. You can tweak the mod to suit your game with no problem :)

Very cool ! but the science bonus should be nerfed
Chaython 14 Mei 2019 @ 2:24pm
OP
Chaython 14 Mei 2019 @ 2:23pm
science seems high

Great :)

This is an absolutely awesome mod! All the more reason to set up an arctic research city up north for cool gameplay. Thanks for this!

Do you know if it's compatible with the ynaemp maps?
Rootimus 13 Mei 2019 @ 5:32am
Yay for more natural wonders!
AOM  [pembuat] 12 Mei 2019 @ 1:52pm
Hi Laurana Kanan, TY for pointing that out. I'm glad you like Mount Erebus :)
Laurana Kanan 12 Mei 2019 @ 1:19pm
@AOM Nice NW! Just an FYI, the Grand Canyon is Sukritact's, not part of TM.
AOM  [pembuat] 12 Mei 2019 @ 8:04am
Hi all, we gave Mt. Erebus the attributes it has for two reasons. Firstly, taking advantage of this wonder is always going to entail creating a city that has quite a few snow and snow hill tiles that most civs don't get much value out of. Just as in real life, something has to have a lot of value to justify the trouble of setting up a human community in a frozen wasteland. Even today, no real city exists by Mount Erebus, although its scientific value and that of Antarctica itself have drawn enough attention to ensure a small population of people nearby year-round.

Secondly, and more important within the context of the game, we figured that anyone who installed Mount Erebus also has Terra Mirabilis in their game. In that mod, there are several natural wonders that are more powerful than we made Mount Erebus. Examples are in the next post.
AOM  [pembuat] 12 Mei 2019 @ 8:04am
(continued from my post above)
Grand Canyon: 16 culture, 16 food (especially helpful as the wonder appears in hot places), fresh water, 4 tourism for each Grand Canyon tile in the city after the Industrial era (12 possible if you own the whole thing).
Old Faithful: 3 science, 3 gold, 1 faith, any science district you build in one of your cities will culture bomb adjacent tiles, and you get double adjacency from any of your science districts that are in a city with a national park (imagine putting a national park in a city that has Erebus if you own this thing - lol)
Motlase Canyon: 24 science, 24 culture, river tiles with breathtaking appeal give +1 gold
Mount Roraima: 24 science, 24 faith, jungle tiles do not reduce appeal in adjacent plots if your nation owns at least one tile of this wonder (post continued below)
AOM  [pembuat] 12 Mei 2019 @ 8:04am
There are others like these. By contrast, Mount Erebus gives 19 science with the potential of 5 more after you've built a science district adjacent to an active volcano in a snow city that probably has nothing but Mount Erebus to recommend it. It fits in with Terra Mirabilis, but is certainly not the top tier of wonders if you have that mod.

People who like Erebus but think it's a bit much can always tone down the science it gives. We will add instructions showing how to do that to the description above. :)
Borealis 12 Mei 2019 @ 2:25am
It definetely is a bit op, but i think i would rather like to know a way to change these values mysef - as idk how to do them - as opposed to "tell" you how you should change your mod. it just sounds wrong, as long as it works
Navotj 11 Mei 2019 @ 11:00pm
i think it might work without the +7 science or even without that and with less science adjacency bonus, its just way too op atm
LordUji 11 Mei 2019 @ 9:38pm
That much science is just so OP. I'm gonna change the values myself, but as it's packaged ... too strong, imo.
