The difference with the vanilla truck stops is that because it's the entry and exit roads that determine the origin point of the distribution area, *it distributes over a wider area." Although not all that much.
Many thanks I am happy with its usefulness
Duly noted, I shall bear that in mind if I need the slicker version after all. :)
Also, you're quite right. I did the first truck exchange to teach myself the basics, and this is essentially a slicker version of that.
Also, while you're at it with truck depot mods, what do you feel about improving on Tossi's modified truck station?
It would also help to allow centralisation of incoming materials from further away for distribution to more than one local factory etc. I notice on most maps on every corner, there's always one of the resources that has to be brought in from a long distance away.
I like the idea of taking one side being a truck line and then into a local truck line.
But why not create another mod which combines a train station and vehicle station.
Passenger train station and a bus stop in one
Freight station and a truck stop in one.
This stops people from needing to place both and hopefully being more efficient!
Right now I'm working on two further truck stop mods where there are separate entrances and exits. They're a lot simpler than this one, but might provide part of what you're looking for.
