Протестировал локально на версии 2.5.2 - работает. Единственное на что ругается - это версия Avorion. Чтобы не ругался, можно просто поменять максимальную версию в файле modinfo.lua

I'm sorry but I stopped developing mods for an unknown amount of time because of real life stuff. You're free to fork my mods as long as you provide link to original and mention me in the authors.

I'm taking a look for getting this running in 2.0+, but I have to look into the script and the like, don't know how much or little time it will take. Specifically for an RP server so that players can have a limited "fast-travel" to be near other players without all starting in the same location.

I don't have all that much experience in avorion modding, so correct me if I'm wrong. But I'm certain the game devs changed a huge load of things in 2.0, one of which how warping works. I'm not sure if that change affected warp gates all that much though. I think the biggest problem lies with station founding, entering x and y coordinates in a specific GUI (and having it appear upon clicking in the first place) and the options that appear when you "talk" to that station. Since there was one to turn the warp gate on and off. Regardless, it's hard to tell not looking at the source code, and not being the mod dev. Anyways I'll see if I can find something as well. However, I'm curious as well what the mod dev's answer will be.

lechkingofdead, warp gates unfortunately do not make your own homesector "safer" regarding cruiser protection or pirate encounters, etc. However, although I'm not fully sure this mechanic is still in 2.0, merchants travel more to sectors with warp gates. This would mostly be beneficial for trading and such.

[4ACE]KahulBane, depends on your settings. You can customize server config file to change it. By default I think it requires to either visit a sector or (if sector is empty) to have another ship there.

Is there a way to edit the gate limit in single player? I don't know if I'm missing something or not.

When it comes to single player, you just activate the mod in your settings and start a new galaxy. Or if you want to user it in existing galaxy, you need to check the box that's called "override" mods or something like this

"turn the gate into the stargate made by NUT-N-NUT" - currently mod uses vanilla gate design. I was planning to add custom gate design support but I'm currently busy with real life stuff. Can you please PM me a link to the stargate design for the future?

I love this but I can't figure out how to turn the gate into the stargate made by NUT-N-NUT. I applied the design and it turned into the faction gate. I thought this was compatible with his mod as the auther Rinart73 asked permission to use his gate in your mod and gave it to you. I must be missing something. The only change i made was updating the design size.

Alice in Champs-Elysees Ave, currently there is no such setting. Also keep in mind that my mod uses vanilla gate and portal sizes.
