There is a mod option to toggle it on and off. See notes for details.

Absolute gold, makes fires a concern (as opposed to minor annoyance).

There is, however, an interesting interaction with crashlanded mod: since that mod causes several spaceship chunk crashes in the first day, and each chunk has chance to cause fires, any moderately-flammable map will be ash and cinders in two days with wildfires enabled.

I like this mod so much. THx you. it had to be done in 1.0... In any case, the game with 400+ mods requires a good PC.
