Why is my entire crew screaming and on fire in my bedroom or all playing with the console at my pilot chair??
Rebta Jul 27 @ 3:58am
7 damage is more than critter's health right?

"minuscule amount of AoE damage"...Will it kill the small animals on my ship?

This mod works very well with Corvent Interactive Crew, for me it's a must have duo.

Update: Posted about a possible issue between this mod and Crew Customisation Plus, but on further testing and investigation I don't think this mod is conflicting, think it's just an old CC+ issue which resurfaced. I removed my old post to avoid confusion.
Sugondese Oct 2, 2024 @ 7:41am
found an issue for everyone else that uses Ellithean Races (however u spell it), the thick alliance hatches screw up the movement of the crew. So wouldnt advise using them
hibarimayumi Mar 14, 2024 @ 11:52am
This mod works fabulously, Thank you so much!!

Ashen: because it got rolled into the interactive crew mod.

Was wondering if you could help me - kinda. With NPC behaviour.
I started playing Starbound 2 after a hiatus of 2 years, and discovered that keyboard instruments - anything that uses " influence" : "piano" is broken. NPCs now no longer play pianos, instead they start dancing as music comes out of the instrument.

Would you know what files I should be looking at to fix this issue?

this looks awesome!

Will my crewmember sleep at night too?
Or is this exist some mod with one you can do it?
I want to build sleep room
Greystar Sep 26, 2021 @ 3:02am
Could you see about changing the "bind item" to something like a crew deed or a colonist deed instead that's been set to be for the specific crew type rather than relying on vanilla items that may or may not be used as decoration on parts of the ship (like the cockpit) that you don't want to have crew hanging around in. Will in my opinion also INCREASE mod compatibility and player customization of their ships. Otherwise could you add support for items from the Elithian Races mod?
venn Sep 5, 2021 @ 11:55am
Or just have them favour a bed based on the anchor items near it. Right now there's definitely a favoured bed on my ship but it's the same for every crew member (Mechanic, Medic, Outlaw, Tailor) so if two of them enter the sleep phase at the same time they race for it.
venn Sep 5, 2021 @ 10:37am
This might have been asked before but would it ever be possible to assign crew members to specific beds based on their crew type? Possibly by using an invisible anchor object?
SportyHeadShot May 29, 2021 @ 12:36pm
installed this mod and all my crew warped away....... O.O I've got no crew now.
Eye-Licks-ander Mar 14, 2021 @ 5:00am
This mod is so MATALINO!
Meail Jan 22, 2021 @ 10:01pm
For such a small mod not using it makes my crew feel less alive and are often just standing in the same spot, so yea wonderful mod 10/10 would ask to be in game as real features.
El Pijurro Nov 27, 2020 @ 9:02am
is the mod outdated? my crew started sticking on the teleporter again
Sir_Ox Nov 21, 2020 @ 8:30am
oh wow. I've never been that good a building.:SBmm:
Yogi  [author] Nov 20, 2020 @ 9:38am
@Sir Ox it's Frackin Universe, it has build-your-own-ship feature. I created the ship myself block by block.
Sir_Ox Nov 19, 2020 @ 8:12pm
what is the ship in the first 2 images? what mod gives it?
aperture_mesa Nov 18, 2020 @ 12:21pm
Finally, I thought it was only something with my game with how everyone kept hanging around teh teleporter.
vindurza Aug 20, 2020 @ 6:16am
Brilliant mod does not seem to cause conflict with any of the crew mods I have installed like Datebound, Earth's finest, and customization plus. now my ship feels so much livelier thank you for this.
Morwys Jul 11, 2020 @ 9:49pm
Thank you for this mod. It's better than vanilla, however, I had an instance of an NPC simply sticking in front of the navigation chair and not moving for quite some time, enough that I left the game and loaded a save to be able to access it. I believe this is because it was an "empty" ship - that is, with just crafting stations and storage - so probably the crew didn't had much to interact with. But they don't hang around the teleporter anymore, which is nice.

They still keep warming their hands in the atomic furnace, so my dreams of a mod that prevents that is still just a dream.
AbyssStarer Jul 1, 2020 @ 10:56pm
Could you try to make your own "NPC's Aren't Stupid!" mod, the one on steam is broken :V
DADDY DEREK Jun 16, 2020 @ 12:53am
Oh, damn, that's even more interesting! I really like the script! Surprised I've never seen it before, given that I looked up a lot of obscure languages and unique writing systems...thanks!
Yogi  [author] Jun 15, 2020 @ 4:39pm
@DADDY DEREK it's not a conlang since it was once the original language of us Filipinos called Baybayin, it says "Matalino" which directly translates to "Smart" in english.
DADDY DEREK Jun 14, 2020 @ 9:20am
Wait, so you're just casually dropping a picture of what looks to be an interesting conlang as the thumbnail without telling us its name?
Qbi Wan Jun 8, 2020 @ 8:22am
Cool thing :D Is it safe for savefile after uninstallation?
TwinIndifferent Jun 4, 2020 @ 5:31am
Also found that crew moves to little to be considered as prop than actual being. They most of the time can stick on one place up to the moment you take them with you.
TwinIndifferent May 31, 2020 @ 3:36am
How about adding small UI for just chatting with crew or picking them on the mission like in Mass Effect and also dialogs between them? Ship will be kinda less void-empty.
Yogi  [author] Apr 30, 2020 @ 12:41am
@Zevk yes, it only affects your crew.
Zevk Apr 26, 2020 @ 7:32pm
If i have the mod, but a friend don't, can i play with him without problems?
Yogi  [author] Apr 8, 2020 @ 2:58am
@Ickura, it's perfectly safe to uninstall, that I can assure you.
Ickura Apr 6, 2020 @ 9:18pm
Is this mod safe to uninstall in case anything goes wrong? Or is this all a one way trip?
MathiusXII Apr 2, 2020 @ 10:32am
Ok, I was hoping it was. I have an issue where sometimes crew will glitch outside the ship if they ride my rail tram when it intersects a platform. It would be cool if they could teleport back inside. Otherwise they're just stuck out in space
Yogi  [author] Apr 1, 2020 @ 11:28pm
@MathiusXII yes, this is normal. It happens on other crews as well. I'm gonna expand it so that when they come back, they'll bring you random crafting materials.
MathiusXII Mar 31, 2020 @ 5:00pm
On the ship, my tailor will sometimes beam up and beam down like 4 blocks away. Is that part of this mod?
Kester Mar 30, 2020 @ 2:38pm
I would love to use the mod but I don't want any of my crew members doing AOE damage and kill critters that are on my ship
AbyssStarer Mar 18, 2020 @ 6:54am
Does this have Some like "Open the Hatches!", if not is it compatible?
Yogi  [author] Mar 6, 2020 @ 5:37pm
@8765sonic tested it and it works ok. Updated compatibility list.
AbyssStarer Feb 20, 2020 @ 7:41am
Does this work with hunter crewmenbers?

I hope it does.
Undying.Ego Dec 23, 2019 @ 12:03pm
@MetaMoRpheXx Haha no problem. Life doesn't always give us much free time. I unfortunately am completely coding inept, but I'm sure that when the ideas put out there someone will jump on it. But this really is something the starbound devs should've considered :steamfacepalm:. Who knows tho maybe in future updates? Thanks for getting back to me so fast :steamhappy:. Ill look into figuring out how to add anchors myself.
Yogi  [author] Dec 22, 2019 @ 3:46am
@CosmicGamer12 see my responses below on your second inquiry:

> Or if feasible enable us to set custom anchors. Possibly via an invisible wall or floor block?.

I really wish I have more time creating custom blocks, management ui, etc. If you see the overview on the description above, I'm peeved that this isn't on the base game tbqh, which then motivated me to create the mod despite my tight schedule (I'm employed and runs up a business at the same time), and I'm really sorry if can only do minor changes and fixes these days. I publicized the source code hoping the community will contribute more to this mod that a lot of you liked, and I'm happy it turned out that way in which I wasn't expecting haha :steamhappy:.

> Could you add more anchors for the different jobs? I don't have an exact list of what might be useful but some more things related to their job.

I already have more items in the list, it would be great if you provided me more. The link below will take you to the config file which lists all anchors to the jobs. You can do pull request if you wanted to edit it directly and I'll add you to the mod's contributors. Or you could just send me moaaar item ids and I'll patch it up as soon as I can.

Github (Config File) [github.com]

You can put item ids from different mods without worrying compatibility (or if a certain mod or item exists in a player's game or not), I've written the behavior code-base so it works on almost every item slapped into it! pretty neat isn't it? thanks to those who submitted bug reports, you're the best!
