so if my train cars dont appear but the engine does what does that mean? im new to the game and ive js started downloading assets, my build is a i-5 13600k, 64 gbs ddr4, and a 3080ti, would it be my system or the game?

i subbed to the dependencies but the asset isn't appearing. It is interesting because I don't see it appear on the lsm as failed. I have used find it etc and looked everywhere and searched all of the keywords and still haven't found it. does anyone else have this problem? it is a truly beautiful asset and a shame if it doesn't work anymore :(

Hi. Interesting "error" ... but that isn't a problem nor could it be "fixed", because the glass uses the "rotors" shader, which doesnt have a lod model.
Btw .. I've never had that in my LSM report...

@clus LSM gives this error in the output log: LOD missing: 1. LRT Tram Depot_Glass(Clone)(Clone) [Core], but the depot asset still loads for me

There is nothing broken ... this depot works as it should.

Btw if you would provide more informations about what should be broken, then I might be able to help you....but without any information, except that it is "broken", I cant do anything.
How would I know what isnt working at your end ?

@AwkwardWhale I'm discovering that I hate older Euro-style LRTs. With a passion. I've been using Trams to mainly bridge other transit networks (or within airports or other hubs) on loops and busses as collectors, where trains and metros are doing the heavy lifting. Understanding their usage more (ca. 1900s UK for example) were kinda similiar to some of our trolleys and busses and not really what I'm going for. I was mainly originally interested for some of the stations and "going underground" stuff.

I don't think LRTs are really what I'm going for - I'm finding inner urban metros are generally what I'm going for in that sense.

@asterisk11231 maybe not useful anymore, but any of the Flexity Swift and related assets make good LRT vehicles, they're actually used as LRT in places like Cologne or Manchester. A lot of them also come in 6 or eight car versions which work quite well for the more "metro" style LRT designs

Is there a custom tram you'd recommend that functions more as an LRT? The LRTs I'm finding are either metros or trains.

Hey @clus, you might want to add the required "tram station track" to the whole collection, "LRT - Tram - Network", as currently it doesn't add it when you subscribe to the collection. Cheers for the great work on the assets though!

Hey. As mentioned by andyh1909, the tram station track is a mod and therefore it needs to be activated.
Regarding your second question: you always have to do a turn loop at the end of the track to allow your trams to change the direction. Thats how the trams work in the game. I can't change that.

1. I've got the same problem here. I've got all the assets for this thing, but still not shown.

2. Is it possible that you could make a real LRT station like which in Frankfurt am Main? I would not need to laydown a cycle line to change direction for my LRT-Trams

Not loading? Check your Mod list. The fix might be as simple, it was for me, as the Tram Tracks mod not being switched on in content management. I thought all the required items were props and hadn't realised that one was a mod. If you just simply click through the subscribe options as I did without reading what they are you might miss this info.

Clus, I just ran a test and tram depots don't look like they actually need the "tram station track" at all. They can use the regular track - or in this case your LRT tracks. Since many people still seem to have problems with it (not just on your depot but on Senfkorn's too) and it would require one less item to be subscribed too, you might want to switch the track.

I just want to echo that I am having the same problem with this asset where it does not load.

I am no modder either ... therefore I don't have any clue how to fix it. :/ BP has to take a look in to that issue ... if there is an issue. Maybe it's just a conflict with some mods, which hasn't been dedected yet.

Does not Load
Several comments have indicated that this no longer loads, and the same appears to be true for me. I have loading screen mod installed, but Content Manager fails to detect it at all. In any case, this breaks ploppable tram stations that depend on it.

I took a look at the git repository to see if there was anything I could do to fix it but I honestly have no idea what I'm looking at.

I really enjoy the tram stuff and use it all the time,but still getting the same error message about Tram Depot failing. Just FYI. I subscribe to everything from you and Bloody Penguin. I don't have MOM.

Are there any items that clash with this? I just subed and when loading a new game it said that the LRT tram mod failed. Any ideas why this is?

So... No problems at my end. Everything is working as intended. Tested it with to different game accounts.

What theme is used here please? I really like the road textures (both highways and non-highway roads.

I'm getting several missing messages: (1) Traffic Light LRTT; (2) LRTT Catenary Mast; (3) Slope Light; (4) Warning Signal; (5) Tunnel Light; (6) LRT Tunnel Pillar; (7) LRT Warning Sign; (8) LRT Node Cover. I searched diligently for item #1. Further working on the problem, your asset requires sub-asset "LRT Tram Tracks-Without Fences" and that sub-asset requires two sub-sub assets. AT FIRST, I unsubsribed to both sub-sub assets. The missing messages still came up. NEXT, I unsubscribed to the sub-asset (LRT Tram Tracks-Without Fences). When I did this, the missing messages disappeared. I hope this helps you to determine the problem. I would like to use your "LRT Tram Depot." Good hunting. Will check back from time to time to see if you've got it fixed.
