Dis is a bit late, but fir the peeps askin’, Grievewraith nests do spawn, but der Nest squad wasn’t setup correctly so the nests would count as wiped out as soon as deh spawned.

1 year since my last comment, still a great mod, ran into a normal one (not elder) today as it was murdering a holy nation patrol right between stack and bad teeth, such an imposing an scary creature, I tried to go at him after he was done and injured, but he got too many lucky hits in, so I retreated and left him to eat the corpses, I don't mind if it slaughters more holy nation patrols lol.

First time I've encountered one since I subbed to the mod last year (I don't really visit holy nation territory all that much, if i do I am just passing through Okran's gulf from fog lands, armour king or border zone.
However today I went to skinners roam from border zone and ran into a nest straight after I climbed over the cliffs near the ruins.

For anyone's information, the normal ones hit for 220~ raw damage (so no armor mitigation), the elders for 450 and they have a pretty decent chance to splash, even my 86 melee defense main character couldn't win as last man standing.
Truly need a proper gang (I only had 2 escorts traveling along with my main character).

Definitely a great additional end-game challenge, since if you can prep a good squad very end-game, you might be able to make it worthwhile due to the loot dropped.
I usually grow pretty attached to my characters so I don't like having even a single one die.

Excellent mod. I just wish you had removed the test start.

I'm guessing this mod is not needed when using UWE? Looks to already be added to that mod.

Why would u wanted to use xbow? It is not eyegore where all of ur problem, he is ur last resort (xbow is not all rounder solution). Why? Cuz xbow, u can just hit the Spider and run if it is getting closer... It is called range kiting. Range cheesing... *Vomits*

And now they're triggered when the spider has low hitbox, cuz i know how it feels. Pretty sucks right, when u pause the game to run backwards and reload so u can hit, but it misses... *KEKW*

Those who complains about hitbox. Need to git gud.. cuz this is good for sharpening ur tactics skills, without cheesing....

First. Let a high block, heavy armor char aproach the grieve, the attention of the spider was focused on that tank (always enable taunt but not blocks so the spider won't ignore u.) atleast 3 tanks in a triangle position. If u have 4 tanks, then square position. that the spider will take time to choose which one to attack plus u r aware who's being targetted. And enable blocks if necessary to lose its attention (only for low hp or low def)... Now all u gotta do is flank the creature with ur dmg dealer like desert sab, fallen S, and best are polearms for bonus animal dmg...

bad torso hitboxes, arrows/turret projectiles tend to just pass through without doing damage

Not much of a legend when one wonders through Stack and wipes the Sentinals. Still pretty cool tho

the hitboxes are kinda fucked, all of my crossbowmen aim directly above the grievewraiths, so ranged is impossible to use against them.

Works with living world mod. During early start, look out for Holy Nation caravans travelling thru Skinner's Roam. Lure some of grievewraiths toward HN caravans so you can steal their downed garrus loaded with food and supplies.

Hi! i created a mod that overhauls leviathan plains into what i call "Deadmist Plains" the problem is it uses "Grievewraiths, Foulhounds and Mist Ghouls" I would however like to release it to public because it adds a very scary and fun take on what is in my opinon, the best biome. do i have your permission to do so? all credit where credit belongs of course and ill link it here

When the grievewraiths in my play through start eating someone alive they start with their hunger bar for some reason xD

I saw a singular wraith in Bast completely wipe out a UC patrol. It started to come towards my squad, but a second larger UC patrol saved me. I watched the battle from a distance and they eventually took it down after losing half their guys.

Welp, still misses a lot. Guess it's a suicide charge then.

Scary but easy. 3 Skeletons with very mid-level stats and high grade gear are able to kill the entirety of the infested area on my save, even with more attack slots

Seeing one of these even in game at super maxed lvl would scare the SHEET outta me

For some reason, crossbow bolts almost never land on these. I watched zoomed way in as one slowly limped towards my squad of crack crossbowmen and bolt after bolt just passed right through it. Only the occasional rare lucky hit landed. I think part of the problem is my guys are too accurate and the hitbox is lower than the center mass where they aim at or something, cause when I removed their gear that buffed crossbows a bit they seemed to land hits more often.

I can confirm these are in genesis, and literally infesting shun. They will consistently hit 150+ and wipe entire squads of tech hunters and mercenaries. They do spawn nests with 3 wraiths and about 5-6 small skin spiders. Kite with crossbows or run.

A single of them managed to kill 3 of my bonedogs that one time I left my gates open while roaming with my main troops.
2 adult and 1 elder bonedogs, while also under fire from crossbow turrets.
These things don't fuck around, 10/10.

Had one show up at my base in the spider plains, luckily the turrets took it out, but it had been so long since I had visited skinners roam that I forgot they existed, had one nearly wipe a group of mid level characters out after a raid on a holy mine left us limping back home.10/10 great mod

So I was playing Blood and sand expansion and saw the ruin (I had no idea at the time what this ruin was all about, at that time), long story short, no one died but it was a pretty difficult fight.

Met one in Skinner's Roam, was single handed taking on a herd of Wild Bulls, i had an 60-70 range all stats squad of 14, the wraith one shot my most skilled character :)), it was a desperate fight from there but we won. I really enjoy this mod, i didn't expect to bump into a wraith just like that, but i heard some fighting nearby and almost passed it.

@Ultimonx You can mod that yourself in FCS. Make sure it stacks to 12 or it won't have room to store them all when it dies. Or go on a shopping trip to Armor King, The Great Library or The Scraphouse at Black Desert City. I know I've also spent more than 100K on specialist and masterwork limbs at the unique Robotics Shop also at Black Desert City

Please Please low the price of matriarch claw just make it 12 10k claws i dont think there is any vendor that ACTAULLY has 120k cats
