The village that I currently have ongoing has close to 1000 population, it is still growing.
The housing to accommodate that number of people is helped by having higher occupancy buildings to minimise the otherwise larger footprint of cottages etc.
A number between 30-40 would be ideal, considering how many are employed on a single maximum sized farm.

How many people exactly do you want to live in Almshouse?

This is a lovely living accommodation which suits a growing village.
I think that it might offer the highest number of people living together with pretty good pregnancy rates.
It could be useful to have even higher numbers of people living within one house, that way higher population densities could be achieved without needing to expand the village too wide. Perhaps a bigger type of house could be needed to do that but the higher number of people living there would be most useful.

Gaile, thanks for your feedback, I asked some trusted testers and they also tested almshouse. I also tested it during 15 winters and everything was working fine like it should...

@dale30281, it's to less information, changes were made and tested by other players and they reported mod is working fine without any freezing issue so without more info from you I can't help you.

@Freyja Thalen, tested, please launch the game and see if your villagers is still having housing issues :)

Alle anderen Mods in meiner Liste sind von dir... Und ich habe auch keine Mod die das Verhalten der Bewohner ändert oder beeinflusst...

Hello Freya, first I need to know what other mods you're using. This mod was tested by a few different players and they reported no issues like the one you described so I will need more info to help you. I also tested it personally in small, medium and large 1400pop village and also did not have your issue. All my mods are working fine with core game settings so maybe you're using some cheat mods that help you play but change human behavior or game mechanics?

Guten Morgen Eien... Erstmal danke für diesen schönen Mod... ich habe das Haus gleich in meinem Dorf gebaut und finde es ganz nett :) . Allerdings gibt es ein kleines Problem mit dem Haus. Mir sind jetzt schon mehrere Kinder und jugendliche erfroren, obwohl Brennholz im Haus war. Die Kinder und Jugendlichen stehen komischerweise auch alle vor oder hinter dem haus. Wenn man sie anklickt, dann steht im Kästchen, das sie sich wärmen aber bekommen dennoch ein Zeichen übern Kopf das sie Unterkühlt sind und fallen dann einfach tot um :( ... Wäre lieb, wenn du da noch mal nachschauen könntest... :) Dir noch einen schönen Tag

Bonjour, merci pour vos commentaires. Créer des bâtiments différents pour ce jeu ne vaut pas la peine, car la modélisation 3D prend beaucoup de temps et je ne passe pas toute la journée à la maison. Steam est mon projet secondaire et ni Medieval Almshouse ni Tithe Barn ne ressemblent à un camp de concentration Je suis vraiment désolé que vous ressentiez cela. Si vous n'aimez pas cela, vous n'avez pas besoin de les utiliser ou de les commenter, cela ressemble à un camp de concentration. Ce genre de commentaires est vraiment démotivant. Dans la vie réelle, je suis très occupé par mes deux emplois et par d’autres intérêts et je consacre le plus de temps possible à la modification de ce jeu et de ce forum d’administration. Quand nous aurons le temps, le jeu a beaucoup de bons modèles à utiliser, alors je prévois de les utiliser au lieu de perdre quelques semaines avec un seul modèle.

Ces deux dernières constructions (Medieval Tithe Barn & Medieval Almshouse) ont un style ... de camp de concentration,mettez ça à coté d'un dispensaire et vous ne verrez plus la différence...mettez au moins une fenêtre dans la toiture,hésitez pas à faire des bâtiments qui montent plutot que qui s'étalent...conseil "french touch".
