The fake one shown in the Thor movies is right-handed too. (Plus the set was made to coincide with Engdame, so you're better off asking the original creator about that.)

Technically, it isn't.
The ORIGINAL Gauntlet, yes, since the dwarves built it to fit Thanos' left hand, whereas the one featured in Endgame, built by Tony, is predominantly on the right.

Don't want to be the Captain Obvious here, but the gauntlet is on the wrong hand. Maybe the gauntlet can have a style, so you can have it on which hand you choose.
