is it possible to paste this into survival ? i wana start a new world with this as a sort of a , guy finds a powerfull abandoned ship. Is there anything spezial i have to look out for?

hope this isnt being too bad, but i love the look of the ship. sadly though i cant run it the way it was originally built, but i am in the process of doing a refit so its less server intensive, but even deadlier thn before. if its ok, could i post the modded version on the workshop, with all the correct nods to you and anyone else who helped make it?

Unfortunately Keen still haven't made projectors work for subgrids, so the turrets and missile systems won't appear when projected. If you really want them, you'll have to make blueprints of them in creative and build and attach them separately. Sorry man, It sucks, but that's how it is. Keen should really do something about this as it causes problems for lots of builds on the workshop.

The ship will work in survival as it is appropriately powered and conveyed, but it's very difficult to build in survival due to issues with projectors. Hence the term "Survival Compatible".

Yes, this ship requires scripts, experimental mode only.

@bodyboarder - I have a battlecruiser, problem is I don't think it's good enough atm and I have many other projects on the go. We shall see.

@epicbanana - Yeah, it does that. I've just captured the initial shots where the trails are still active. I really wish it was possible to keep the trails.

How did you get all the missiles to render in the gifs? Mine always stop rendering the trails when there are too many missile so I end up with just the model for the missile.

The heavy torpedos also seem to get caught on something when they leave the tube and explode

All missiles that are separated with gatling guns are broken, the gatling guns don't fully destroy the connectors

@Xero 0.5 All the guns and PMW would not work, but they could be switched for vanilla guns and rocket launchers and you'd still have a massive hull that can tank for a while. Also, if you ditch all the subgrids, this thing actually doesn't hit the SIM too badly, but your server admin may disagree.

There are far better investments in survival though.

On a scale of 1 being kind of ok, and 0 being completely worthless, how useless is this without scripts? *actually serious in the case of vanilla/no scripts*

Also i like your build style, very similar to things that I have built, but my 'capital' ship was large enough that it corrupted the world it was in somehow...however, it's not yet complete.

The cockpit is probably the best part, lol.

@echoir Haha, I wondered if you'd ask. I was going to write some lore but I ran out of space in the description. This ship is the vessel that helps end the Europa Conflict. It's about two years late, but it finally arrived. :D

I'd have kept the heavy torpedoes and ditched the Dragonslayer and ECM for Spinal Lasers :D
