Map QOL is working now, and great at that. But these two mods are pretty awesome, I expect them to be assimilated into the base game at some point. nice work Rinart

They said I couldn't play modded and earn achievements, I sure showed them.

Wish the QOL Galaxy Map was working as well... only two mods I refuse to play without. Simple, but makes the game SO much better...

Ok so far after doing the edit that DumpShock suggested my Icons are working and everything has been named properly. Ill keep testing to see if its a permanent fix but so far looks good.

Is this currently broken? I dont get any icons on my gates. They are also not named in the sector overview but im not sure if thats this mod or gate founder doing that,

I'm having the issue as others below, I checked line 60 'gate.lua' and it already has

local wormhole = WormHole()

and I'm still having issues with the mod not working most of the time. Once in a while it does show Compass directions but for the most part it's not working. Anyone else having issues?

So, this is actually a very simple fix.

On line 60 of '..\1722261398\data\scripts\entity\gate.lua' you will find the following line:

local wormhole = entity:getWormholeComponent()

Replace it with this:

local wormhole = WormHole()


Looking at the patch notes, getWormholeComponent() was removed for being redundant.

So far as I can tell, WormHole() has replaced it's function. Seems to be working in my game so far at least.

Bad_Idea, 1.2 is a perfectly valid version number. If you can't connect to some servers it means that they need to be restarted. It's not perfect but it's not me who decided that Avorion versons and Steam updates work that way.

With that being the only force enabled mod, on a save that works fine with other mods also (was working with this too before the update), the error I get is simply;
Connection Lost: Error while enabling mods:
and thats it, doesnt even state your mod name, unload this mod and the galaxy loads fine...

Force enable the mod, load either a new save, or the existing one we were using, and it just fails, throws us back to the main menu

Vokun Vulon, huh weird. What do you mean by "bombed out"? I just need to know if it's the mod being incompatible with the new versions of the game or is it force enabling that doesn't work well.

okay, further to my below, as I see a few holes in it, can we do what was said below in such a way that, say, only the server has the updated stuff and the rest download it from the server as one would usually, or would we have to wait for the official update for this here due t how it downloads mods?

before y'all flame at me, yes i have just read the below, but can this be updated for those that use a dedicated server and all participants? I'm fairly sure if some of us updated the mod manually, those that didnt would be locked out because they dont have that exact version of the mod, and some of them on the server are too basic to do this update themselves...
Oh and I'm not even the server host, I'm just the one that sorts the modlist and knows console commands

or you can just set the entire entry to

},
which obviates the whole problem permanently.
It does not however fix anything for me, a server operator for whom I would need to each and every one of my users update all their outdated files, which includes almost every mod Rinart has published.
