If the mod was downloaded correctly, you should have this folder: T:\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\221380\172175644, containing the mods data.

I just remembered I had similar requests one or two times where people didn't wait for steam to finish the download.

Well steam says the mod was around 76Mb and after it said the download was finished i jumped straight on. Should i wait longer?

You waited for the mod to be downloaded completelly? ;)

Just asking for the mod is a little bit larger in size - so steam may need a while to finish downloading it.

This might help. I have just checked my music folder after resubscribing and the base game music is still there, maybe something to do with the download/extraction?

I unsubscribed then verified my cache, redownloaded and sat through the intro but no cigar. I will try restarting sream then computer.

Some changes require a restart of steam (or even the whole pc - but I don't think this will be necessary in this case).
Alternativly you can first try to verify your game cache.

For you are still using 3.9, you have to have manually chosen to use 3.9 instead of the actual version of AoE2.

For this you have to have changed your used game version in the beta box in the local files tab of your games properties (steam libarary) from 'NO BETA' to '3.9'.

Otherwise you would use the actual version of AoE2 (4.2.x) automatically.

So you just need to set your used 'beta' back to 'NO BETA'. This way your AoE2 will be updated to the most actual version automatically.

Oh i was unaware of a 4.x patch, where would one aquire this?

I upgraded this mod this weekend - so instead of working with 3.9, but not with 4.x it now only works with 4.x, not with 3.9 anymore.

So to use this mod, you have to use the current verrsion of AoE2 instead of the old 3.9 branch.

Sadly the mod updating feature is really buggy with AoE. Since I started modding AoE, I was able to update a single mod 1 time!!

Therefore adding tracks is no option, I have to do a new mod.

This also means I won't do a new mod because of 'just' one or two new tracks - that way I could do a new one like every few weeks.

But we could do a survey at the discussions to get a list of the tracks most wanted?

For 'Two Steps From Hell' - I'll do a new collection with only their tracks.

if u want my opinion, you should add a bunch more music from 2 steps from hell (''To glory'', ''Archangel'', ''Norwegian pirate'', ''Winterspell'' and ''United we stand, divided we fall'' are some of my suggestions and requests) but this mod is still my favourite, i suggest it!

I suggest adding "Gladiator - Now We Are Free" && "The Last Samurai- Red Warrior". I love 'em . They're so aoe - ic

Yes, I uploaded this mod before the FE release where the AoE sound system wasn't able to use multiple soundtrack files.

And yes, I can do a new upload with seperate track files. Adding it to my list.

Hey subscribing to this mod downloads one big file. I was wondering if it could be split into separate tracks so I can change the order of certain music files and delete ones I don't like?

In any case an update or dlc contains a new version of a file that is changed by a mod, this file will be overwritten by the new default one.
This is for the modded file might be incompatible with the new game files.

To get your mod back, normaly you just have to verify your game cache.
But there are a lot of people that had to unsubscribe from a mod, delete the old mod archive from the game\mods folder, verify their game cache, restart the game and after closing it down - resubscribe to the mod.

This is for steam sometimes does't reload the mod correctly for it still has some old data left. By the mentiond way, they will definatelly be removed and steam has to completelly reload all data.

You have to extract the mod archives (zip files without extension) and rename them so instead of several files named xmusic1-20 (for example) you have files xmusic1-40. That ay AoE will play them all in a row.

But every time you verify your game cache they will be gone.
Easiest would be to make a 'mod' like this using my next Mod Managers beta 0.8.x.
