yeah, i had player size manips. conflicting with it, now it works.

Very sad that xDr conflicts with this mod, i ended up using other mods which functions relatively the same, but works alongside with xDr, the issue being that the mod conflicts with Vmanip this time.
Anyways, i was glad that this one doesn't break or function greatly.

@Michael of Carcosa Unfortunately, it's not compatible with any of those type of mods, since they hijacked the camera and don't use the default one.

I have a problem when using a model with a custom skeleton and this mod. It always places the camera at my feet. I used another mod, Dynamic Height 2 but it has it's own problems, being 1) It occasionally crashes and 2) If I use classic camera mode my camera won't follow me when I crouch and real time camera mode has un-immersive bobbing.

@David, If the model requires custom animations, it won't work with it.
And it won't work if you got admin mods without whitelisting it.
The mod is very basic and very light so for anything that modifies the camera or animations will conflict with it.
So you have to disable mods until you find which one it is, then choose which one you rather keep. Unfortunately since those kind of mods are usually tied to the character.

@Braixy Braixen, Looks like they stopped the ability to use these kind of scripts.
I was testing it with another computer to host the server. And no matter what I do, it won't allow it. The old test scripts mod didn't work either. Not even my old version dynamic height without the server side only script in it R.I.P.
I even tried all the duplicate versions of this what used to have the ability, I even made them work again. but only in single player and hosted server with it, they wouldn't activate the moment I connected to my other computer that was hosting the server.
I'm not gonna push the script exploit any further. I don't want people's accounts potentially getting VAC.
But at least you can play this mod with your friends.

Admins will never add this addon on their servers, and not because there are any problems with the balance, because obviously there can be no problems with the dynamic camera addon in the fun gamemodes, but because the servers are very few. Now in Garry's mod less and less not RP servers, and those that are already created a monopoly. No one is not trying to compete with them, and the admins of such servers will never accept suggestions from players. I think it's obvious.

Servers can simply add it to their game or/and all you need to do is request it. If the server allows it.
It's not fair for the server host to have mods work on their server they don't simply want.

This solution just reduces the number of subscribers to your addon by 3-4 times, I'm serious. People don't need this addon if it doesn't work in multiplayer

Why would people use this addon in a single player game? This addon is good for fun gamemodes, and modes where people compete with each other simply do not use models of different sizes. You can check it yourself, just go to any server

If it's TTT, Murder or any other mode where a player plays against other players, they don't use models of different sizes, because it increases or decreases hitboxes and generally creates imbalance. And in fun gamemodes, where there are models of different sizes, the lack of such a feature only hinders and spoils the impression of the game . Are you U N D E R S T A N D?

Looks like the mod doesn't work on the servers. When I go to any server with this mod, the playermodel is broken. Dynamic Heights 2 worked on the servers but it is no longer supported, can you do the same? ~ Thanks

So, I found out xDr breaks the PM height after respawning. Thanks for your help, author!

@JFHorizons Just tested it and it is running just fine, it might be a mod conflict.
I did all the things in the current video on this page, when I did my retest.
Unfortunately, pretty much anything camera based is not compatible with this mod, an admin mods usually sook at this mod.
Causing the camera reset.
Example pill mod causes the camera to reset to default until you change the character, and then back again or disable the mod and reenable it in-game.
So all you can do is disable mods until you discover what it is, then choose which one you want to keep.... Unfortunately.

This addon seems to bug out if the player respawns. I have set a short player model and my height ended up being reset. This mod is well made as the other ones on the workshop currently are broken.

@Biocrab I don't know if the minor patch I did fixed it for you. but I added a video showing it works.

it starts "enabled" but when you try to disable it it does nothing and it doesn't work when it's "enabled"

@Shiro And I verified the game anyway to see if it would work and it still works. It's a very simple mod. It should never break if they don't change the vanilla characters. That are based on the original versions of the game HL:S/1/2 CS/CS:S/CS:GO/TF2

@Shiro All I can say is disable all of your mods and enable this mod and enable each one 3 at a time until you find it then decide which one you really want to keep/can't live without.
If you got a but load of mods then do pageworth at a time instead of 3 mods at a time.
