Hey Aleron; really nice work you've done here! I have one suggestion:
Could you please fix the insults and/or the creature sounds? I noticed that when a diplomatic event with a Synth nation popped up, they said "vile (insult)".

I got it working, I just had to change the game's version it was for.

Just so that folks could potentially refrain from commenting about it; Yes, the mod is outdated, and despite how it was stated/nearly promised that an update would be pushed out soon(tm), things keep getting in the way/procrastination happens and thus not making the update happen. Much as I want to get the mod updated, I'm afraid that things aren't going to work out, though the other author might be able to get around to doing so since they are the one that knows the coding side of modding for this game.

I somehow mashed the files together to get a half decent looking animation

I may look into doing some updates in the near future. Thanks to all your feedback I have some ideas on what to change, and improve upon. Maybe soon, with permission from Aleron, we can look into updating the mod.

@villheim.seb Charm's the one that handles the coding side of things, while I'd do the portraits. More or less, it's up to them on if/when to update it.

I am surprised someone from Equestria has enough brain capacity to understand that Protogen should be destroyed as a project... Synths have atleast some autonomous functionality and aren't as useless and ugly

Here is something I'd like to ask for, the Mechanical Trait. Being that we're able to play this race without being a Machine Intelligence (amazing), but doing so makes our population play with certain organic rules (pop growth, no habbitabiliy upgrading traits). Could you put a trait into this that lets Synths play as Synthetics.

I think the issue @Frost is for some reason the synth species is considered biological and you cant robomod it only use gene tailoring.
