I bought a slave, but he didn't join. The mod doesn't work

This mod is broken. Slaves that would have follow the vanilla "follow and join" behavior do join instantly, but slaves that follow the vanilla "follow and leave" behavior never join and instead follow the vanilla behavior.

i recently purchaced 3 slave and just 1 actually join, i assume thi mod doesn't work anymore

I have bought recently 2 slaves and they are working perfectly fine. Haven't tested the mod yet

This worked for me. I bought 2 at once and both joined after a few seconds. They were both humans if it matters.

This mod DOES still work. I just used it to get Harmothoe, the Free Trader.

She sold supplies to me once, early in my playthrough, but I made the mistake of coming back with my skeleton mule...and she attacked him. She had some decent stats, so I tried to cage her and found out she wasn't effected by the Recruitable Prisoners mod. Slavers, however, were happy to take her when I left her laying around. When I bought her back she, tho, was hostile but followed me around and didn't attack me. So I installed this mod, loaded the save before I bought her, and she joined the team.

This mod is outdated, that is why it isn't working.

Some second floor slaves didn't join, they stood in front of the cage ,It seems to be a bug in the game itself

I can't buy and recruit fogmen, i think fogmen is too much for this mod.

Hi guys, I've tested it out. It works, but be caution if u buy an unconsious slave, he will not join your squad. Make sure to check each cage/name. IF u see him awake, then buying him will 100% join team.

this also has to be FCSed for costume races.....much like animations

Mod used to work 100% of the time. Since the devs updated the game, slave purchases default back to random. @hardbrocklife having good RNG has nothing to do with whether this mod works or not. The values in the Forgotten Construction set are simply not the same. No Genesis. Last in load order. Vanilla values. Hopefully the mod author can take a look at it and update, but this is beyond my pay grade.

I don't understand people saying it doesn't work. I bought 3 slaves yesterday and was able to talk to them and offer 3000 cats for recruiting. I appreciate there being a cost to add some balance. Bought 3 slaves I'm Henge, immediately was able to talk to them and recruit them. I have multiple slavery mods included as well. If yours isn't working, probably something you did.

P. S. Genesis is incompatible with nearly every mod. Only use Genesis if you dont want to add other mods.

since i downloaded the mod i can't sell any guys im carrying for 400c. that's sad because i can't make slave traders like me for selling slaves to them

As of March 2023, I noted this mod is hit/miss.....I can get slaves to be added to my squad about 75% of the time....but that is standard slaves when its more specialised slave like Sand Ninja or Dune Renegade, it appears that they will be purchased and I have a low chance to get them to join me.....because they do not 100% join my squad

Works perfectly. Finally easy recruits for 1000 cats instead of 3000-6000

Seems if you hand in slave yourself and than buy them back you even get the shackles and the enslaved status.

Since I couldn't find a decent replacement mod, I built a similar one for anyone like myself still looking for a replacement. It's got a couple bugs, but I'm looking into them. Suggestions and feedback welcome.

jwoolman0 If you do, you are a legend. I haven't been able to make heads or tails of it withing the FCS. If you have a KoFi or something similar, I'll buy you a coffee.

This did work for me temporarily - something changed and now it doesn't work at all. Now the slave basically "escapes" by falling out of the cage and is recaptured - never joining the party. Going to fix this one myself ... can't have a "fix" that only works sometimes.

Its been working for me. (I think) I bought my slaves from traders and they all joined. What mods are you using? And where did you recruit your slaves from?

Doesn't work the way it's supposed to. Sometimes you'll get lucky with actually recruiting 1 out of 7 slaves that you buy. Yes that just happened to me.
