SkiRich's Nasa Education Mod, iirc it auto manages shifts on universities to only train people if you don't have enough specialists.
Also has other features like "curing" idiots into gurus, but if you don't like that feature you can disable it.
Is this working ?
Don't know if it's possible to make a mod like that, but i would highly appreciate this aswell.
Thes still attend university and im stuck with a lot of unused medics and geologists when they could be useful as scientists or engineers. Or a mod that allows specialization change ?
colonist.name is only used when user enters a custom name (I believe).
Sorry for the message spam, I should think about all this and put it together as one post next time.
Note that this doesn't do any checking for manually renamed colonists (i.e. without a table for the name) or for UI language name order (refer the NameUnit function in Names.lua)
Looking at the colonists with ECM shows the name table still has the first name and surname fields on all colonists, but the ones on which the surname is hidden show TMeta Translated instead of TConcatMeta Translated .
I lack the knowledge to reverse engineer this to work out why it's happening
Looking at the code on Github though, I can't see why that happens - is it a big in the built in function?
Thanks a lot!
Added progress to Sanatorium/School (mouseover lifetime info).
One question please, a version for the Sanatorium already exist?
I tried to search but I don't found it.
