In the game files Eastern Europe and the Russian region are seperate, though. As you can tell by the mods I do, I go by the regions specified in the files.

Well, Russia is partialy in easter Europe. Also russian countries at begining are in Europe.

The other players do not need these mods for them to be able to play with you. These do not change the files required for gameplay; meaning that the checksum will remain unchanged with or without my mods.

for Ironman mode the checksum must remain the same right? so does that make this multiplayer compatible against/with people who don't have the mod(s)?
