It is kinda annoying, but the reason the default Half-Life 2 maps have the scripted events is because they're taken straight from the files of the actual Half-Life 2 game (Hence why they only appear when you have the game installed and synced with Garry's Mod).

I honestly don't understand why the Half-Life maps on Garry's Mod have scripted sequences. When I play the map, I want the MAP, not the GAME. Anyways, this is a cool map and it's actually a MAP without scripted stuff. My computer is not strong enough to load it though.
