i tryed but i dont like it. the textures are great but it feels more realistic and sad. Great job anyway

Do you mean like the top of Image 5 here? That's fog of war; its supposed to happen. This mod doesn't remove that.

If you mean it goes back to completely unexplored, that's a problem, and probably a mod clashing with this one.

am i doing something wrong, it says the mod is enabled but when a unit goes away from an area that has been explored it goes back to the brown fade that you cant tell the color of a tile

I wonder if it's possible to get a Civilization VII version of this mod like "Environment Skin: Sid Meier's Civilization VII". CIV VII has amazing graphics for the terrain, but not a good game.

This mod doesn't affect saved games, so it shouldn't need a new game.

However, a saved config might do that, I think?
If you're creating from a saved configuration (which saves the mods you have active at the time) save and reload the game once you're in.

You'll need a new game, devil. Don't load a saved scenario, either. Only way for new mods to work.

what did i do wrong? I downloaded it.. its enabled in my mods.. the game still looks the same...

I subscribed to this mod on my browser but it doesn't appear in my list of mods in game. Also, when I check my list of subscribed mods for Civ 5 in Steam this mod is not there. It shows as subscribed here in the browser but isn't in Steam. Anyway, I am trying to find the mod in Steam to subscribe there and I simply can not find it. Searching by the mod name, the creator's name...nothing. Pawing through the diff types of mods. I found it originally by accident but now can't find my way back to it. Anyone? How do I find this on Steam? thank you.

well guess i might reinstall civ 6 with this mod cause the art of civ 6 is so revoltingly ugly its the whole reason i refuse to play it.

Is anyone else having issues with flooded and submerged tiles and flood barriers not displaying correctly? It seems if I reload the game after sea levels initially rise, all flooded/submerged tiles display as normal, without any visible flooding effects. Already constructed flood barriers -- as well as any I build new -- are invisible. Once wonder or district tiles are submerged, they just show up as blank tiles of whatever terrain type they are. If anyone has any fixes for these issues, it would be greatly appreciated! I deleted and re-uploaded this comment as I forgot to include any mention of flood barriers.

I can't stand Civ 6's art style without this mod. It pretty much saved the game for me.

Remember that increasing and decreasing your graphics settings will make it closer or further from the visuals in the screenshots.

This doesn't work anymore, not only does it do nothing but it breaks the deals screen completely.

What do I need to enable, disable, whatever to get it to work? Specs shouldn't be an issue. I'm using Pc and I got civ 6 from Steam. I have all the passes and dlc, are any of these hindering it?

YES! A mod to make it not look like a mobile game. I hate the civ6 art style, this is awesome.

As an old head, I can't fathom the cartoony graphics of original civ 6.. Bless anyone that made this mod, lifesaver
