My Red Dwarf 2 uses the vanilla lettering. (No, it's not on the workshop.) Someday, Red Dwarf 3 will use this one.

I've never liked progression. Might have made sense in ME, but we're already in space in SE, we should already know how to build most things.

Both your letter mods conflicts with progression. Turn off progression and it works fine. When trying to build it, it says unknown technology and cannot build it.

Only letter A is available. Adding A+ 3x3 and wheel doesn't cycle the letter.

It should, you should also a extra categorie for the blocks. Make also sure you get the A with the + symbol. If it still makes problem, delete the mod and download it new.

Finally, something to replace darth biomech's ancient mod, in an appropriate font, that appears painted on, in different states and sizes. All I need now is a welder that looks like Dave Lister's space paintsponge, and I can better recreate the opening shot of the original Red Dwarf intro.

If you want you can try it, the weathered Alphamasks are in the Texture folder under "lettersw" and the normal one which you could use as a base are in "letters". And the v1_constr2, v2_constr2 etc are the rest of the textures, i use 4 different cm/ng/add textures with the different Alphamask to make it a bit easier for me and to have lesser textures. It could make it a bit difficult to find out which letter use which oft the 4 versions, but i could give you a list when you want one.

I'm a texture and 3d guy, if you want I could have a go at the textures and if you like them you're free to use thme.

Spend already way too much hours on that, so i can't promise anything yet. But yeah, I'm also not that happy with them.

Scaling it up end the most time with Letters you can't read anymore and others things also didn't worked that well.

I love the idea but the wear-and-tear looks more like random bullet holes or something. If you're using an alphamask on these, maybe try scaling it up or applying a gradient so it's not so "holey" looking?

it is a construction stage, if you weld it complete up, you have the full letters, if you weld it not complete up you have the weathered letters.

There is this mod or where you installed steam.

It could be that you must manually delete the mod first from your computer before you can redownload it. That I read often on such problems. I self can't say anything about it, never had a corrupted mod download on steam.

Yeah like as soon as I hit "G" and went to grab the block it crashed. I guess i'll try to redownload it. lol

Not any problems here, could place it like every block. Do you tried do redownload it? Because it is a known issues that workshop download sometimes are broken and than you have such crashes where all other users don't have a problem.

I have not a single error in the SE log, maybe you could find the problem there: C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\SpaceEngineers.log

Well as soon as I went to use the letters in game it crashed my game and then my computer crashed.

You are sure that your download was not broken? No problem here and no problem heard from other users so far.

DO NOT USE THIS MOD! It crashed my game and then crashed my computer.

now with 2x2 and 3x3 size Letters and a Texture fix for SE 1.190.0

The textures are now less grey and match more the block colors (means when you place a letter with the same color as the block behind it, it is near invisible).
