Did a bit more testing. This time I made an angled shaft (~30 deg.). Upon reaching a deposit, I tried to mine horizontally, rotating slowly. After I filled all cargo I made sucessfully exit by flying forward and up, while holding nose on horizont line. Btw, I'm using a better rock mod, so ore diposits in my game are quite deep (~300-1000m) - that's why I've tried vertical mining first.

Yeah it is very weak when it comes to pitch and roll. It is mainly meant for horizontal mining but I do agree it could use an upgrade, just never got around to releasing a better model of this, tho I probbably should do that.

looks like it almost impossible to use this thing besides horizontal mining... it does not have enough forward/backward thrust for such capacity... it lacks down thrusters, so if you backflipped in a tunnel (quite easy) - you'll have a big problem flipping it back. Design is great, though.

how much weight can it lift? is it capable of vertical mining?

Murica1776 if you "own" all the blocks (the remote included) Then from your inventory screen you can drop down the menu at the top left. Select the drone and click remote access.

How do I operate this thing? Is there something I can read? Never used remotes before.

I want want to keep the some dose anyone know how i can stop that from turning back on when i do so?

The older screenshots doesn't show it but the second one is located right next to the right-side rear camera (very easy to spot).
Not sure why the remote isn't working tho,but sometimes rebuilding the antenna or remote block can work. Either that or going into creative mode and copy-paste a new one can fix it.

I cant seem to find the 2nd programmable block anywhere on this thing. I found the easy one on the back up top but the other is missing. Also im not sure why it wont let me take control of it through the remote. Is it cause the 2nd block is still missing?

Sound like one of the conveyors might not have been 100% completed. That is the most common issue. Check if all the lines on the conveyors are green. If they are yellow or red there is an error somewhere and may need some extra welding.

so for some reason only half the drill will transport ore to the cargo containers and i made sure thing is built correctly need help :/

hey i like it but i have a idea try and make it soo the player just needs to tell it to mine say stone and it will go and start ming stone and come back when it is full

So I build this (via projector) and am unable to take control of it.

Figured it out. Had to turn batteries off and back on. Basically a reboot lol.
