so is there a video where you actualy show when you build the whole thing since the video is so hevylie edited so the only way is getting the blueprint...
and where exactly did conveyortube vs small conveyortubes go? and is that an autosorter going from the rearconector to the medium cargocontainers? geting started eh? im trying to learn the basics here so why isnt my abomination look like your miner transport? can i just get a 3d mesh of the thing...

I have this truck on my AI Engineers world right now, even with over 20k hours on SE (Over 2 accounts), AI Engineers' PBR is very adaptive and might use this truck when they start out in a world, who knows? their neural network is smart.

Fair warning this truck is cursed... 5 lighting stroke this the truck itself three time and twice the mining ship that I was transporting at the time then the truck badluck rub off on me and got hit twice all that in within 3 min.

So Built that truck twice now ( once got destroy by going down hill fully loaded hit a hole ... and off for a other truck to replace it then the second one ..well read above..) I now scarded to build the goose and butterball for fear of loosing that one too.

I just started playing more of the game with my brother in law and got way into making alot of cool stuff, still learning and watching your vids are helping out alot aswell, looking forward to watching more later on

The 6 wheel layout is becoming a staple of my designs too :)

(EDIT: Great blueprint even just for the Miner transport!!! absolutely love how easy it made things for me)

This little rover is perfect for alot of other configurations, I've made a few other transports for my ships and bases, a fuel truck and for my WIP underground bases, a oxygen transporter, as well as a mobile defense truck and a mobile recharging station, since all these trucks use battery power (except for the recharging station, I put a hydrogen engine in it so all the batteries can recharge from the solar panels, and it will keep from using the energy that would of been used from the solar panels to move the truck.

Ronald, the only 'vanilla' way to do this would be with a Conveyor Sorter, this would be had to input on such a small ship. give it a try yourself though.

why doesnt the stone go from the pod to the chests auto??

I love your videos.
Understandable pronunciation, no stupid fluff, great information.
Just watching your videos makes it worth the purchase of the game, even if I never do figure out the point of it all.
I am absolutely certain that without your videos I would have chucked this game into the bin. I got to the point that I had power and and stuff and had no idea what to do next. It took some time to learn to fly your drop pod miner but it is very useful. Since there are no actual survival requirements to survival mode I am never sure what I am grinding towards.
So now I can gather more ore. I can't wait to see what you/"we" do next. :)

lol... I just noticed this. I also built myself a miner from that pod just like you did, mostly following your instructions, That starting pod miner was really struggling. It was constantly out of power, it flipped on me several times, it's carrying capacity just couldn't cut it... This mining truck probably would have helped, but I quickly switched it out for a slightly modified version of the Butterball.

At this point, I think I have the materials to build a Goose, and if I don't, I've got plenty of power to make round trips without ever really needing to stop for more then a few minutes of recharge. I still need to setup that recharge script... Always more work lol. This game is sooo addicting.

Nice little truck. I'd suggest a conveyor sorter somewhere between the ship connector and cargo set to whitelist ores; this way when you dock the miner it pulls the cargo. Would also introduce noobs to the concept.
Also if you move the gyros, you can fit a solar panel nicely on top of the batteries and cargo and it doesn't even look like too much of an eyesore.

ok, so after some testing, ive come back to update my previous comment. Before, i said that it didnt work, which isnt true. that was my fault for not understanding completely how tha game worked at the time. i have, however discovered a fatal flaw in the design. the thrusters arent powerful enough to lift the pod once you have collected resources with it.

To put a parking brake on your toolbar drag your cockpit or remote control to the hotbar to add 'park brake on/off' :)

put the park brake on your tool bar and you can toggle it with the number keys

You have to press P to unlock the parking brakes

im a subscriber and use your videos in space engineers daliy. I hope the tutorial helps everyone like it did me.

Only started playing a few days ago, and these tutorial videos have been invaluable. Following the video where you built this rover/transporter, I have built something extremely similar, if not an exact copy, and it works perfectly. Keep up the good work.

Never stop doing what you do. love the designs you make as well.

I modded it to have a conveyer sorter and ejectors to remove stone once I found ore deposits. Its a lot easier than throwing it out of the cockpit and having the rocks weigh the nose down, causing a crash.

@Jackattack he has a video on it, if you search something about worskshop uploading on his channel you will find it, but he uses Ansel, something that comes with any Nvidia graphics cards that arent ancient :))

That was a very good tutorial! The vehicle in general is amazing, I love the colors and the mechanics on it!

Nice build... still prefer building my own stuff after watching your well thought out tutorial vids (sometimes you just have to struggle and suffer to get the real SE feeling).
