Hey, that's a bit weird. Honestly I don't know what would cause that and I haven't dabbled in Miscreated mods for a couple years now. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Hello, Simon. After installing this mod, the walls of the base disappear if you look at them from the inside. How to fix it?

Don't know if you still mess with Miscreated mods, but I was wondering what it would take to reduce the reserve radius of base building to allow for clans to build much closer together (think compound). sorry if this has been asked/done before. I would love to build together with my sons and spawn closer together. Thanks for all you hard work.

@Goku it shouldn't mess with any existing structures. if you build more parts than vanilla then removed the mod you may have issues. but other than that everything should be gravy

so if our bases are already prebuilt 200 apart exactly and we add this mod will it mess up our bases or the game possibly?

@Nick the mod was outdated. I missed it somehow when I was updating the others. should be good to go now

@x.cremers just added that now. you can have up to 25 lights on a single generator :D

Having an issue where when I pack up an item i have placed I can no longer place and item or interact with any other items in the base. This started right after i pushed an update for this mod. Any one else see this issue? I only have 2 mods on the server, and the other mod is an item crafting mod for clothing items.

I have been noticing that since 1.4.0b that on my large base we are having door glitches where you cant open them and some people will see them at the claim sign. I dont know if it is the mod but wanted to give a heads up.

Sadly there's no way to add a user config with the current setup for mods D:

But what you are more than welcome to do is copy this mod, change it to meet your needs and upload to the workshop. If I can ever add user config in the future I most certainly will.

I can double check and see if something changed a bit later. If you use any other mods that modify the plotsign.lua it may cause issues. any other mods running?

Yeah I just updated the mods on friday. The extended radius isnt much more on this one. only an extra 15 meters.

Hey, the mod should work through an update just fine. In the event devs make some major changes I usually roll out fixes same day. I believe when the mod is disabled the extended parts disappear but reappear after enabling the mod again.

Hi! What happens with this type of mod when there is a patch and it takes some time for the mod to be updated? Do all the items in the extended base radius disappear either temporarily or permanently?

that was one of my original goals for this mod. unfortunately when bases are too close together weird stuff happens like pieces disappearing/server crashes. if/when an update fixes that i'd be more than happy to make a clan base mod just like that :D

can you help with a mod that lets clan members place signs to extend one player build radius so the more clan members the better the clan build can be? iv been using your mod as a guide and simply been trying to remove reserve radius all together

you can make the z higher but the game bugs out past about 30m and building is unpredictable. and you'll need to make a mod if you want to change anything. this one has a height of just under 30m which should be plenty for most cases.

Yeah it turns out the exclusion radius is from the center of base to center of another base. Made it 105 now and the bases are 50 so there should be no more overlapping. Thanks for the tip :D

Yo Simon, on my server, people are having an issue with bases (plot poles) being too close together and causing a glitch where they can't open doors or put new parts down at their own base. Once the other plot is deleted, everything works again. Just FYI

Does this allow you to build in the water? it would be nice if you can build into the water as well (like a certain radius)

They should be close enough for that. It may bug out if they overlap though so it will take some science to figure out. As for the backpacks that's technically possible. Before when I was messing around I switched the slot to waist and it could be stored.

i havent had a chance to see how close they are together yet but thats what i wanted, them to be as close together as possible, like have a bridge between two bases. though i imagine that would actually be a headache lol. are you able to make Backpacks go in boxes/tents? that would be awesome.

Sure I could make a variant of the mod with different numbers. Did you want the bases closer together? Right now they are really close, might even be able to link bases.
