that contain UnLimitedArmor( this mod ) as incompatible.

if only looking for Armor rating removes, use this mod.
or looking for more, than use Un-Limited Reborn.

Thank you and this works great after testing a fire squad on unlucky pawn. He survived first 30 shots but 31 was just little too much for armor.

"다만". 동일한 내용을 다루는 모드( 있는지는 모르겠습니다. )가 있다면,
그 모드보다는 위에 있어야 합니다.

그래도 추측으로는, 모드가 위에 있는게 Xml 정의 부분에서
조금 괜찮지 않을까 싶긴 한데. 실제로 실행해보는 과정에선 어디에 있던지 큰 영향이 없어서
림월드의 로드 과정을 전부 뜯어보는게 아니라면 자세히는 모르겠습니다.

모드를 잘 사용하고 계신다니 기쁩니다.

혹시 얘는 모드 설정할 때 어디에 두는게 제일 알맞을까요? 최대한 위에 두는게 맞나요 아니면 아래에 두는게 맞나요?

unfortunately, Rimworld's armor rating system are not very detailed.

so if you need it, find some peoples( not me, and good at c or something )
and talking with them for making a replaceable mod.

So to be clear, armor cap is increased way above 200% even though the "Overall Armor" in the Gear Tab shows 200%?

1) sure, as your want.

2) on my test environment, this mod work on pawn's( colonist, animal, etc ) skin and armor.
i think it's still the same.( from Rimworld 1.0 )

3) is currently. i doing mod maintenance( it's not a duty or mission, just a habit of me )
it mean i doing only update at Rimworld's version update.
so that opinion is welcome for me.

If you make that mod, and you want adding that link on here, i willing to add it to
steam workshop description.

I just realized something, there's a mod that removes all limits but armour, and one that removes only armour (this one)

is there one that does both? Thanks!

P.S. if your no longer truly making it, is it alright if I(over time) reverse-engineer this mod and integrate it into my own (with credit)?

idk difference, use mod or not, clothing armor can be more than 200, Gear tab's Overall Armor is neither than 200, all in new save

Many thanks for the experiments and analysis at Armor Rating System
unfortunately, this mod was made when Rimworld 1.0 version
therefore, the XML provided in the current version and that there will be some difference.

so most ideal way is remake a this mod, but I gave up on Rimworld Modding.
i am doing only maintaining the status quo.

I think i got something , that ArmorRating in Apparel StatBase is for the Apparel , ArmoeRating in Pawn StatBase is for the Pawn , Apparel Armor is like fillPercent , bullet hit on Apparel will not build Injury Hediff on Pawn (but decrease Apparel hitPoints) , There is <usehitPoints>false</usehitPoints> on Pawn , so In fact Pawn can't be harm by bullet , just get Injury Hediff and become corpse thing . so there is a easy way to gain ArmorRating in Pawn StatBase , and no need other Hediff, just add <equippedStatOffsets>ArmorRating_XXX</equippedStatOffsets> in Apparel .

pawn's skin armor rating system use same system
so it can able to over the 200%p armor rating at skin.
but with out durability( skin will be better than armor, if value are same )

Neat mod, but may I ask a question? If im just using genes that would put the pawn above 200% armor rating (steel skin gene, fortified body gene & etc) would it still go above the 200%? Or does that only apply to the equipped items?

if write <ArmorRating_sharp>200<ArmorRating_sharp/> it
Sharp vs armor rating is 20,000%p in game
although the notation is in percentage( GUI ), the actual value is a real number.

very high armor rating will ignore damage, but those damage going to
armor durability.( maybe vanilla function ) but if put those value at
pawn( like colonist, animal, etc ) It's work like armor, but without durability.

thanks.i mean only write <ArmorRating_sharp> 200 on Apparel can not make the real armor rating up to 200+ , even a simple pistol can still hit it in my test, but on Hediff <stages>write <ArmorRating_sharp> 200 , it can not hit.

mod are no purpose, when armor rating are less than 200%p

I haven't played vanilla Rimworld in a long time
so I don't know armor rating 200%p + is a reachable number or not.

maybe works. because, pawn's armor rating calculate many things, include pawn's skin, or other clothes. so Rimworld not showing "highest" armor rating.
