Many assets are missing now. Would it be possible to re-upload them?

I'm not being able to getting this map into OneWorld, it takes ages to load and just crashes, anyone else getting the same problems?

Hi Dorsta.

Thats an asset bug, activating a fan that you can find in the DM's Table will solve it.

You can use the fan to control the intensity of how the wind affect the trees and bushes.

Hi!
I have a problem with a bush or tree model.
When moving the map around, there is a line of leaves floating around and moving woth the camera, looks bugged.
I tried the http fixes but the leaves are still there...Can someone help me? I'm new to TTS, tried to remove them in the assetbundle but couldn't find them.

I'm so glad it worked for you too!

Our campaign is going great, and the party LOVES this map. I thought the idea of putting a tavern environment on top of that floating barrel was a great idea, so I built on it....

I've added some floating tables around the perimeter to put assets for a shop (barthen's) another tavern/inn (probably the sleeping giant) and a sort of workshop-type store (probably the Miner's Exchange or the Lionshield Coster).

It gives the players a seamless experience, going from the beautiful Phandalin overworld and zooming into the relevant buildings in town without breaking immersion by loading a new map.

You really did such a fantastic job on this map, and I highly encourage anyone considering running LMoP to use it.

And I'm sure anyone running DnD modules on TTS has run into some broken links to the ubiquitous General Chaos (bless him) assets. This little trick seems to be working on every mod I've tried so far.

And also, thank you for the tip about the Saved Mod notepad, im sure it will be helpfull to many users outthere, and im not gonna lie, it will be helpfull to me aswell.

1) I loaded up the map, saved the game, and then went and found the save file. For me this was in Documents\my games\Tabletop Simulator\Saves\Lost Mine Of Phandelver

2) I opened the json file in Notepad++ though you can use any text editor to do so

3) i did a find-and-replace to standardize all the general-chaos elements. this took three steps:
3a) find all "https://www.general-chaos.com" and replace with "www.general-chaos.com"
3b) find all "http://www.general-chaos.com" and replace with "www.general-chaos.com"
3c) find all "www.general-chaos.com" and replace with "https://www.general-chaos.com"

I had to do all three steps because the file had links in all three formats. If you just do step 3c you'll end up with links that look like "https://https://www.general-chaos.com"

I'm 99% sure there are much easier ways to do this that I just couldn't think of, but this worked and only took a couple minutes.

After that you just save the json and load the game in TTS.

It works! still a couple of minor errors on a pile of crates and a wall segment, but those were easy to delete and replace.

It's looking fantastic now, really spectacular work. My players are one session away from Phandalin and I've downloaded every single Phandalin map I can find on TTS, and yours is just head-and-shoulders above the pack.

By the way, for anyone who might run into a similar problem in the future (or for myself when I forget about this), I actually ended up fixing this myself initially. Here's how:

This is all moot for this map since PFC fixed it (thank you again) but I seem to encounter these issues in lots of things on the workshop, and I feel like this technique is almost certainly going to be useful sometime in the future.

I changed every generalchaos link adding " Https:/" before the link.

¿Can you try re-downloading the map to be sure you got the update?

Pope Fan Club, this https trick actually did work for some of the models, the ones from generalchaos.

But i'm having a problem there. The terrian, all the grass and road and ground and such, is made of a million individual tiles. each tile is missing its texture because of the https issue.

so... now i'm going in and right clicking ten million individual tiles and adding https:// to the second two links... which is gonna take forever.

I don't suppose you know of any clever way to do this for all of them at the same time?

I've tried ctrl-clicking to select a few, (and alt-clicking to select a box of them) but when I do that and right click to edit, it only edits the mesh for ONE tile, the one actually right clicked. So I can select 20, but only change one at a time... which defeats that purpose.

any thoughts?

@Blauer Max Try this:

1 - Right click the model with missing texture.

2 - Custom.

3 - In model/mesh and image labels should be a link.

4 - Write Https:/ before every link.

The ground texture is sadly missing. Wanted to use it for mys todays game (awesome work btw!) but an all white ground doesn't really float my boat.

tracking, yeah the research i did said that it was normally caused by the places that host the images and textures dropping them from the host. Some of the maps work well, and some are missing textures, but not ones so significant as to make them unplayable. thanks for the reply and ill give the reinstall a go, reloading, didn't i get the same loading errors.

@wcualum @kdrood I am trying to find out what the loading problem may be, I have tried to load the map on another computer from a different steam account, I have asked friends to open it and it has not given me or my friends that error.

However, a friend has told me that this has happened to him in other maps with different textures, their solution was to reinstall TTS or reload the map.

I wanted to use this for the campaign I am running but most of the assets from general chaos wont load, any idea why? When I go to the webpage in a browser I am able to connect and it does want to download an obj file.
