also camera distance is still not scaled
But using both together is still not suggested.
Using only Hard Scale, you can copy/paste key mapper settings without affecting the scale.
To press Ctrl+V, when using translate tool it will only paste the scale, when using the key mapper the hotkeys for Hard Scale will be disabled and it will only paste the key mapper information.

To scale 3 axis separately in multi-scale is a little difficult to me. And this operation doesn't make sense in most cases because you cannot do shearing transform to a block.

As for mechanical problems after scaling, structures can be unstable due to the size change. For example, spinning blocks must slow down if you scale up the structure.
