@Klashy - i will rate it for sure, like i said before the formation is as close to being unbeatable like the DIABLO of old the only formation i have ever used since day 1 of FM19 :)

but we are trying ? even if u say match engine dosent allow but still u must keep trying and trying not just do nothing cus game dont allow no man i preff to try and try and try but this tactic is really working well and its like pep city style in real life

You can't recreate Guardiola's philospohy because the match engine doesn't allow for positional play. In the sense that you can't have the players move from 4-1-4-1 to 3-2-2-3 or whatever because the AI isn't anywhere near advanced. Iv'e tried. You get close but you have to alter the tactics because the players cant switch in game between lanes or zones to create different formations etc.

i have used that formation since the first day the game came out, but with different instructions and roles and duties of course, but that is the basis of all my tactics, i find that no matter what you do with roles and duties and instructions the formation shown is one that the match engine has trouble matching up against. it has proven to be a sort of DIABLO formation that you build your roles and duties and instructions around your players. I have won over 50 trophies using that formation. Glad someone else has stumbled across it too and found success with the formation :)

work ball into box will make ur 2x wing will be in box like IF in FINAL third thats why pep need first strich WIDTH ! to creat space and OPEN DEFF ! for creat space its like step by step

pep need to strich pitch he use his 2x attack wing to make that job and thats why he use IWB so they support mid cus his 2x mids is mazala they push up in channel and help attacks and his 2x attack wing start in wide so they give space for 2x mid to get into chancels and have space

Klashy, your reply shows you have no idea about tactics, stering and sane are not wingers, just because thy dont play on opposite sides doesn't mean they are not inside forwards, if I want to make a tactic I will but one thing I wont do, is make up a tactic and call it pep . explains why sterling as winger scores so many goals and hardly crosses to aguero for headers, you have a good tactic just dont use pep as reference , doing so makes you look very stupid.

if u say this not pep style then work ur ass and make tactic that copy pep dont just type things u dont know pep use 2x wings in real life and aguearo is CF he dreft in flanks drop deep push up hold ball all in 1 _ and reason he use IWB cus he have 2x Wing attack sane and stearling they are not IF they are pure Wingers if they are IF they he will play stearling in left and sane in right but he dont and - his style is IWB wil cover mazala space so they push up and help attack and 2x attack wings start with wider area to stretch the width and let space for 2x mid to push up and iwb cover the mid

I looked it at it and if you know anything about football you will know this tactic has nothing to do with Pep and does not even closely look like, your wingers run with the ball and cross to complete forward who for the most part might as well be target man, not saying your tactic does not work it may well do I dont know but it has nothing to do with Pep or his style.. my 2cent

Tried with Sampdoria, finished 5th so its not flawless for weaker teams. But helped me get a job at Inter, now i've been undefeated for 12 games, beats tactic for beats teams. Thx!

A realistically setup gegenpressen tactic will force this tactic to go long under pressure, just like in real life, and these players and this formation is at its worst when forced to go long. Against your standard Arsenal and Chelsea tactic it does well, but only with players of City's level.

What about changing the role of the ST has anyone tried changing it into something else?

Time to update my original tactic and I'm I did. This one is much better, I noticed the midfield changing from your last tactic, but this one is solid. I use it once I score 1 goal against strong opposition, it works great to win back possession.

Thank you for the tactic, keep up the good work. Only problem you have is that Sir Alex was the best tactician in the world, not Pep.

Played this tactic last year, Won the Europa League with Southampton in my first season and came 2nd in the Prem the 2nd season. Hope it works this year aswell, havent seen this tactic up for FM19. Will try tonight
