First of all, thanks for creating the mod kit, tutorial and examples.
I'm having some problems with the basics, though. I'm a unity noob, using this as motivation to learn. If the answer is covered in basic unity training, feel free to make fun of me and even better point me in the right direction :)
My main problem (so far) is this: When I download an asset with the asset viewer, it is added to my project as expected, but only the asset itself, no prefab. I can'y drag the asset to the scene, and since it is not in the scene hierarchy, I cant use that to make a prefab. How can I get all required resources (prefab, icon, graphics, etc) for items and characters from the game, so I can add them to a custom location/scene?
Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

@Geborgen, отключите в меню "Модификации" игры мод - MyMod
Проверь в меню Стима "Контент" - "Работы в Мастерской" - "Подписки" (меню справа)

Без мода при нажатии клавиши F2 переносит в тестовую комнату, так и должно быть?
И если попал туда - как выйти своим же персонажем из этой локации?

Я использую мод "F1 консоль" совместно с песочницей... где кнопкой F2 сбрасываются характеристики, F3 хар напарников. Возможно изменить кнопку вызов тестовой локации?
Или подскажите где изменить это параметр в версии на гитхаб?

ИМХО, Песочница как раз для мододелов. Сам мод ставить ради галочки... в нем нет ничего полезного для самой игры. Если хотите понять (и простить) - скачивайте исходник песочницы и компилируйте его из модкита. Там всё прекрасно работает. подтверждаю - в песочнице нет dll-ки. только файл ресурсов. вместо dll какой-то ModBuild

После подписки на эту модификацию, ее не видно в меню игры, соответственно активировать ее невозможно. Другая модификация - консоль по F1 - работает нормально.

where can i find the mod creation tools? i have checked under the tools section on steam but could not find it in there.
