An absolute mess of a campaign
All you're doing is walking back and forth through very, very large but extremely empty and boring environments. Levels are linear, but that linearity comes from the necessity to go back and forth in a zigzag pattern across the whole level, and despite levels being linear, it's still sometimes unclear where to go or what to do. .Ammo is omnipresent, there are ammo piles like every 3 meters, so that's either good or bad depending on your preference. Biggest problem is with level layout: AI just doesn't like it. Zombies and special infected get stuck in textures all the damn time, smokers can catch you and drag you across the level while being inside random textures where they are completely unreachable and unkillable, and ally NPC's get stuck on everything like every few minutes, with only solution being to walk away far enough for them to warp to you. If played with people, this campaign "might" be good, but if played with bots, it's a complete disaster.

WOW! Fantastic campaign. I haven't played this one in a very long time. Too long to be honest. Such details and the perfect number of yellow brick arrows and supplies.

I got lost for sure. That's the part I enjoy the most.
I use bots if anyone is interested in how they do. I am using AI simple I believe it is called. The bots use bombs, melee etc. They also get lost and die. Overall this mod keeps you in supplies. Just remember they will steal from you and hog kills.This is a borderline cheat mod to me. I have been gaming online for over 27 years now. Mods were considered cheats. I do consider ALL performance mods as cheats. Those are the speed, endless ammo etc.
I have music, LED flashlight, and silenced 50 cal pistol, but hey don't help me win.
I always play on easy the first time so I can search the campaign and find everything. Common sense helps a lot. So does situational awareness.

Да, это треш.

Слишком огромные пустые пространства, при этом без комнат под возрождение выживших. Сами подходы до конца игры максимально не удобные, т.к. всё идёт змейкой к одному краю, а после к другому. Бочки, которые взрываются и кладут всех выживших перед туннелем - это отдельный прикол. Огонь местами не обжигает, местами нет коллизии объектов. Нет диалогов между выжившими

Отвратительная карта в которой подсказка только финальная кнопка которая виднеется еще с 1 карты, не советую к прохождению!

Anyone else just randomly explode? On the second map some random explosion just went off and my whole party got downed.

crashes on finale also could use a little more weapon variety; I only came across one melee weapon and one tier 2 shotgun during the entire campaign

I recommend playing this with a friend.

its ok

this map was a bit of a puzzle to operate. if you didn't see the arrows you can get easily lost and it didn't really give much direction. also I think there is an audio glitch with it. overall a great map, but could do with a little more polishing

For some reason I got a feeling that I've played this one before... or maybe not. It's not bad at all, although takes time and patience to find out where to go and what to do in order to continue... sometimes you just have to wait for some door\path to open - it's not happening instantly.

Overall, I really enjoyed this! This would be fun to play on Versus, and will be revisiting repeatedly in the future. It's a map where you have to explore in order to know where to go next. It's not overly difficult, but it's a matter of trying to see if things will blow up a hole in a wall, or if sewers will guide you to the next points.

Another helpful tip: If you see a button, push it and keep searching for the next saferoom.

Finished this campaign on Advanced. If you're playing this for the first time, and don't know where to go, have the bots lead for you with Left 4 Bots.

The ambience is well done, and not a single place in the levels felt rushed. It might be my mods, but the level changes were w/o music.

Bots couldn't enter the chopper in the ending, had to warp them all.

The lights on the chopper were confusing to me, but figured it out later. Spoiler for those who needs help: Press the radio to start the finale, and just hold out through the two waves and tanks .

There could be more ammo, it is greatly needed during Expert and Advanced.

Glitchy fucking mess, with no sense of direction. Hard pass on dog shit like this.

Very, very good campaign. To Idano: answer the small radio first then large radio to start the ending.

AI can't enter the chopper, and I got no indication it was ready.

In my humble view, one of the best atmospheric map.

.txt file that defines the campaign seems to be corrupted. It doesn't show up in the campaign list and the .bsp files won't load through console.

Map was too huge, felt boring and overall the "story" was just non-existent.

this was awfull , the entire layout was just bad. From the samll pathways to unneeded Unsolid objects. Bad direction , solid mapping but everything else was just garbage.

Nice looking and atmospheric map with unique level design. Just follow the arrows, and you will have lots of fun.

Sorry to say that this map sucks by only playing 3 levels of it, but after wandering around the 2nd level endlessly and going down from what seems to be nothing (which happened at the 2nd and 3rd level) I think it goes without saying that this is probably the worst campaign I have ever played. I played some bad campaigns and they never instant down for no reason whatsoever. I think I had a stroke when I went down for no reason the first time. Do not get this map.

I don't recommend this campaign as most of your time will be spent looking for the safe room. There's no sense of level design and the only faint hint of direction are the orange markers that "supposedly" direct you to the safe room. It's bad. :/

I don't want to judge the whole campaign on my experience in the first level. But this level sucks.
As soon as i spawn i'm confused on where I am, the medkits are scattered everywhere and theres a fucking m60 right next to spawn, which was useful cause 5 seconds after i leave spawn a horde comes outta nowhere and kills me and my team

And apparently an unmanned helicopter can suddenly take off.
