hey nice work making it easy for players to get the sounds from the workshop and copy and paste to install them with the folder set up, but why not make them in a vpk so they work in the addons folder? that way the sounds that arent covered in the mods voices just use the originals

unless thats why you show players this way to install them so the original voices dont show through ever im guessing, it is the best way and all i was just wondering myself

Well, I'm planning to make Ghost (MW2), Deadpool (MvC3), Noire (Neptunia) and Scout (TF2) voices to perfectly fit into the game since I already got the skins working by subscribing and enable the mods in my game, but voice packs are much harder to fit them all, every single voice clips to replace Coach, Rochelle, Ellis and Nick. The other group will be replaced somewhat similar way.

This method works on all of my voice packs, I'm pretty sure this is the only way to properly replace a survivor's voice.

All you need are the voice files after all

Is this voice mod install solution works on every sound replacement which is a downloadable content and does not work when I subscribe to it?

You need GCFScape to open up the vpk file.

hah, don't be, your mod is very good and, oh my, i know how to instail this, but, mess up with the folders and make all manual is a shot in the foot. just make the mod and turn it on in game is much easier, plus, at least you have to tell the ppl about the GCFScape to extract the mod files in this description. but if you just know make this way, who am i to judge you? ^^

I'm pretty sure you followed the tutorial exactly as you should've if you were to replace Rochelle's voice. (Which I did on the video)

This voice pack is for Zoey so you're supposed to replace the voice files inside the teenangst/teengirl (Zoey) folders, not the "producer" (Rochelle) folders

The file names for Zoey's voice files are quite a bit different compared to Rochelle's voice files so it won't work really well. (Some might have the same file names, which explains you oftenly hearing Nisa while playing as Rochelle)

Do make sure to empty the entire teenangst folders so Zoey's voice doesn't pop up in game.

I'm sure you'll be able to work it out since you managed to replace Rochelle's voice
Just make sure you're working in the right folders! (Rochelle = producer, Zoey = teenangst/teengirl)

Windows 7 & 8 are pretty much exactly the same,but, the software is really different, I did follow all your steps and it was all clear but on my pc the files are unorganized, the dlc files were all mixed up with your created sounds and the original game sounds, after 1 hr about I was pretty desperate on hearing the new voice and wasn't gonna spend hrs on organizing all of the files, which i could do that but at that point I was eager to hear the new voice so i just held left click and took in all the mixed files and threw them in, into that file and it didn't work on Zoey. I was bummed and the next day I played a regular game with Rochelle and was shocked to here that it was working, a little XD your created voice and her original voice was on and off but hey! I got it working lol. I really like all of the hard work you put into all of this Aelyc, you did well even though my pc mistaked on me, I can't blame you I just gotta fix my pc lol.

I found out it somewhat worked, XD well, i got it on Rochelle not Zoey and Rochelle speaks the language on and off. I guess its fine XD the files on Windows8 are just unorganized. If only voices could be more simple to add on! Yet i do like this add-on :3

Tried to work on the add-on for 2 hours on my Windows 8 computer, did everything like I was told and just didn't work :(

the addon is nice! the only problem is some sayings aren't being replaced so after I rebuild the audio cache she sometime speaks english, but im okay with that. I just think that she's a wierd girl who constantly flips from japanese to english x3

it doesnt give you an option to change it...

You need to open the vpk file with GCFscape, right click on the vpk file, go to properties and hit the "Change..." button.

Select GCFscape in the new window that just popped up, if it's not listed in there you'll have to browse to the GCFscape.exe file.
