So...how do you get Jellyfish to join you? He keeps saying he wants to stay with Tark.
Also...is it safe to knockout Momo and recruit him with other mods or would that break this mod? His stats are always so high. I wanna steal him lol

@gamer.alive In the description of recruit anyone mod there is a link that can teach you how to add mod characters to the cage recruitment program. Please go do that for anyone that does not work.

For some reason in any of my playthroughs I've never been able to recruit Jethro. He just runs off after rescuing him from Rebirth and even kidnapping him and imprisoning him and using a mod like recruit everyone doesn't work. He just says a single line of dialogue and that's it. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I just found Archiver 57 at a lost library in the swamp. His back was turned after I broke the door down so I thunked him and am currently bringing him to a freshly constructed jail! Don’t know if I even want to go to effort of modding just to recruit him…

Spoilers for recruiting Isolde, since it is unusually tricky for some reason.

I found her in Squin. For some reason, your recruiter can __NOT__ be a Greenlander, Scorchlander, Shek, or Skeleton. In vanilla, this pretty much means you have to use a Hiver to recruit her. I think you also have to have 20k cats, even though she only takes 5k to recruit.

Basically, you follow the "Who are you" and "Join me" lines of conversation.

Leaving this in case future adventurers are looking to recruit based on the location spoilers above.


I found Sparrow in the Barracks at Okran's Shield, NOT at Okran's Fist.
I found Science Bot 309 at the Ancient Library directly west from Arach. He was initially hostile, but his dialog worked when he was jailed.
I found Archiver 57 at the Lost Library in Wend, NOT in the Howler Maze. He was initially hostile and would only say he was busy when jailed - I resorted to using FCS+Recruit Anyone as a workaround.

I didn't look into it any deeper, so I don't know if they can spawn in more than one location.

It's weird... if I bring him to the barracks by Trader's Guild in Heng, he stops. The moment I leave... he starts up again.

Oh I guess he doesn't use exclamation marks... still super annoying. He is the first follower I've gotten on this playthrough, and I am loathe to dismiss him. Anyone know of a way I can shut him up?

Some of them dont have "squad" group in FCS. That causes NPCs not spawning, doesnt it? Anyway, I am too affraid to tamper it, lmao.

I always play a hive.. i usually dont recruit skeletons or.. dirty greenlanders e.e But this mod has opened my hearth to other races <3 even if i have to cook for them e_e

I think the characters in rebirth only join if you're also enslaved when you talk to them

i think both of the really high stats characters are free (steel blade and copperfist)

my opinion on this is that the people in the world who have really high stats aren't in need of money and they're joining you because they're just kinda bored

I was wondering if this mod was balanced though. For example, i'd love to buy someone with 80-90 stat numbers, but his recruitment would cost me over 100.000 cats, just to make it balanced. Is this mod like this?

The Natalidae free items do not work with Svetlana, I'm using a bunch of mods but none that should affect that. thanks for the info!:steamhappy:

Isolde should join you if you have Hive characters (i think she only checks for western hive)

Svetlana should have recruitment dialogue after you heal her (have not tested this at all)
Svetlana's primary purpose is to just give you free stuff if you talk to her with Natalidae (also untested lol)
