Very old upload, I believe the website I've used is banned from steam. Can't be bothered to retrieve it, sorry lol. I no longer support these mods, but still keep them in the workshop just in case people still use them.

I only have solutions if steam doesn't download the mod etc. but not if you actually have the mod and it's installed and you activate it and then it doesn't show up.

Try the Direct Download?

I'd say that if you did everything I said in my previous posts, then it MUST work and it simply cannot not work. And you deactivated all other mods so it's not a mod conflict either. I know for a fact that it does not show up if you do not have the Brave New World Expansion Pack.

I suggest you remove this mod (unsubscribe) and then use the direct download. I can't help in any other way. I've never had such problems with completed mods (activating but not showing up).

Sir, can you pleases help me identify the problem?
I have tried everything from disabling every other mod to reinstalling mood and coying it back into MODS section. It still does not appear on civilopedia or the setup menu. Is there another way to get this mod to work?

I don't think that's the problem, that's the only way to view its contents.

ok I found the problem. The 3rd file in the main folder of the mod, "Pakistan (BNW) (v 1)" is being opened by notepad. Can you tell me the correct application to open that?

You got the BNW expansion pack, so you subscribed to this mod, then the steam client downloaded the mod, you went to the MODS section in-game and the mod installed just fine. Then you activated the mod by pressing the icon with the check mark. You then DID NOT return to the main menu BUT you clicked on NEXT, right bottom corner. The mod shows up in the list of activated mods. If you did all of this, it works. If not, it may be some kind of mod conflict. I know one thing; it's not the download.

Im not omniscient. You need to specify the issue. Did you activate the mod? Do you have BNW? Did you click on next after activating the mod?

Just checked, it should be Pakistani
Go to My Documents/My Games/Civ V/MODS/Pakistan (BNW)/XML/Civilizations and open Civ_Pakistan.xml with notepad etc. You should see <Adjective>Pakistani</Adjective>
If it's not, then you can still manually change it.

@davey_henninger Oh I meant I thought the demonym is Pakistan in the mod.

@ScottMcPwn Thanks, perhaps Marines would be better, and I'm not an expert, but I thought that marines were mainly involved in sea affairs, which is why I chose the Infantry. And if Infantry is meant to be WW2 Infantry, then these kind of units (Rangers) are not represented well in civ V, I guess.
Also, according to multiple resources, the demonym is Pakistani.

Ranger as an infantry replacement?
Infantry is meant to be WW2 Infantry, perhaps marines could be a better option.
Oh and just looking at the details, it seems the denonym of Pakistan is just Pakistan and not Pakistani.
