the rock and grass textures are not included with the map as they are default hl2 content, so that wouldn't help. only thing i can suggest is that it might be caused by a map that was downloaded from a server, which are found in the maps folder

I might be able to mess with Garry's Mod's files and fix my issue that I'm still having...

those rock textures and grass sprites are often overwritten by other maps

Everything looks different to me
The rocks are sand-colored, but for me they're just grey
The grass is green, but for me it's just dead grass
How do I fix this?

@garbage would you like to pm me the source files of rockyisland? I'm trying to port it to SFM but the bspsource decompiles the vmf really badly. I'll credit you of course, and the only thing that needs fixing is the water.

The rocks are hl2 content (included with gmod), so they shouldn't have missing textures, but from my experiences, other maps love to overwrite their textures/the rock models, so it's probably another map/content pack causing the issue.
