If the EG version doesn't support steam workshop mods, you might be able to manually modify the file yourself (though I don't know if EG has anything along the lines of anti-cheat for this kind of game). The only file in question here is located in '[Barony installation]\sound\Death.ogg'. You'll have to locate wherever your Barony installation is though, and I wouldn't know where that is with Epic Games.

I'm not an expert on this; just listing what I'd try.

Both modded & vanilla work fine for me in regards to the death track playing. If you're on vanilla and it still doesn't play, maybe try verifying the integrity of your game files in steam settings? I can't replicate it on my end so there's not a whole lot I can do.

Doesn't seem to work after the latest patches. Died and it didn't play any sound, either from the vanilla game or the mod

Honestly this makes the most frustrating deaths seem so trivial because, (Seinfeld) oh well that's the way it goes.

Great; I'll take a look at this again next time I see a patch, though I think once the bug is fixed the mod should work without any changes (assuming Death.ogg didn't change location or name).

A bit unfortunate, but I can't seem to get the mod working. Trying to replace the Death.ogg file doesn't do anything, it's like it can't be recognized or something. It seems to be a problem specifically with Death.ogg because I was able to replace another sound effect (FireballExplode.ogg) with the Seinfeld theme song and that worked.

I wouldn't know where to submit a bug report, but I'll look around. Updating the mod wasn't too difficult assuming I was doing it correctly.

Oh, did the Quality of Death update break the mod? I won't be able to take a look until this weekend but I'll note it down. Might be nice to revisit simple modding and maybe I can up the volume while I'm at it as was suggested years ago now.

Thanks for the feedback; that said, this was made over a year ago now and I've pretty much completely forgotten how to make mods again ...I'm quite happy that this rather bare-bones mod is being used by many though.

I think I just took the Seinfeld theme as is and slapped it in a folder somewhere. It probably wouldn't be too difficult to crank up the volume of the mp3 a bit and reupload it, but with my university classes I can't really afford to spend an afternoon looking at it right now. Maybe on one of these upcoming weekends I'll revisit this.

I love the idea of this mod. When I used it, though, the Seinfeld music seemed to play quieter than the other music. Anybody else experience this? I personally would love to hear it louder, so it takes over the soundscape a bit more, adding to the punchline quality. Just my two cents, great idea for a simple mod that adds a lot to the game. Humorous deaths are one of the game's greatest strengths.
