Just an observation, the units of nordic warriors and nordic warriors with axe I think they should not wear capes because they do not show well the hairstyles such as long braids

Love this mod, been using it for a while now along with the 642 awesome mod. I personally call this mod the 'Naughty buggers' reskin. God, were we (England) that hardcore back then? :) Playing as Mercia.

Is there a way that you can remove helmets from the Nordic axe warband and give them hairstyles from Northern viking armies like sudreyar and duflin?

@Wodanaz.20 Since you mention it, yes. See each hair color is its own variantmesh, basically meaning theres 4 groups of hair colors: blond (including light and dirty), red (including light and dark), brown, and then black. This means theres a one-fourth chance of the units having black hair. I was hoping it wouldn't be too noticeable but because you mentioned it I'll go ahead and change it.

really good mod well done best reskin with out a dought im just being a nit peaky but a bit much Black hair just find it a bit out of place for nordic factions will that be changed ?

@Wodanaz.20 Yes I plan to reskin every other culture and DLC factions. Right now I'm working on the celts. No doubt it will all take a long time but I'll do my best to get it all done.

@Anisvara Yes turns out you're required to use a cover photo when uploading new mods and I was trying to upload mods without one. I feel pretty stupid but I'm just glad it was an easy fix.

well thralls are literally slaves so they wouldn't be using the best equipment to begin with. I'll look into the missing weapons but I'm also working on a larger update for this mod anyway.

I took a screen shot. Their pitchforks and crap are missing. I see now that was your purposeful design with the thrall units wearing linen with no shoes and unpainted shields. Got to admit its the only thing i dont like about this mod. They look like they came from concentration camps lol. Love the rest of the units though!!

Thrall spears i believe, Had Anisvara's 642 dark ages active and was playing campaign when i saw it.

what unit specifically?

Tier one spear men have no armor, hair, or weapons. bare wooden shields and linen shirts, all bald, no weapon in hand.

Yeah I can do that. I just won't be doing any requested changes to this specific mod or any of my other personal reskins unless its a bug fix like a missing model. But since your're requesting a standalone mod and it'll be pretty easy to do anyway then I have no problem with it :)

Thank you for the fantastic mod, but please could you make a version that just reskins Gewis and gives facial hair to the Chieftain with Gedriht? (Oddly specific I know.) Sorry if me asking that bothers you or anything of that sort. As I said before, wonderful mod.

Hey I just realized I was actually using a different inferior Nordic Reskin and I'm totally fuckin stupid and was not paying attention, your lower tier units are good I'm just rarded my bad, great mod exactly what I was looking for!

Also I don't think its a mod conflict issue either because this is the only mod I got installed right now

No its the Celtic short sword trust me I'm very well versed in the weaponry of late Antiquity as I'm sure you are as well but maybe it's a problem on my side, I don't know how making mods for this game works I'm not really a computer guy but it sounds like you got the right weapons and they're just not showing up in my game for some reason.

I just realized you said low tier melee units. You aren't talking about nordic band/brigade are you? Those units are actually using the seax/sax. It was a common type of Germanic/Nordic single-edged longknife used during the migration period through to the viking age and wasn't Celtic in origin. It's also the namesake of the Saxons who were known for using it.

Thats really weird. See with my mods specifically I do replace the ancient-style swords with period accurate spathas. It doesn't make sense to me that this would be caused by one of CA's updates (especially since I figured CA gave up on this game anyway). I will be updating this mod as I mentioned in the description, and not only replacing the weapons but making the units look even better with the help of some assets from Thrones of Britannia since I've ported them into Attila. In honesty I've been burnt out from total war for a while but I'll try to update my mods as soon as possible.

Hey I love this mod and I love the way my favorite factions look now thanks to it, However, my only criticism and this is criticism of every Nordic reskin but the lower tier melee units still use mid Antiquity celtic short swords. So my question is if maybe if you could update this mod or something that makes it so the swords are replaced with more accurate weapons like the spatha
