Ok I loved this until I got to the end of the bronze age and suddenly my women start dying out and workload gets too big because they've all died from "dehydration" or other silly things that make no sense. Is this a glitch? I dont like my lady folk dying, yo.

It was challenging and I got my ass totally kicked. Raiders completely wiped out my town at the point where I almost had enough weapons to reach the goal!

Hi! I'm really sorry about that. It seems like you were not fast enough or all the extra tech since release slowed down progress so much, that it affects the endgame in a bad way.

I might re-play / analyze further .. somewhen.
For now I could think of 2 express workarounds before I fix it.

Restart the scenario and try to hurry OR

Edit this scenario stored on your your hard disk in your steam folder to your favor:

You might re-edit / re-subscribe later to un-do the changes you made until you stocked up in order to finish the last goal without 10-15 people joining 3 times a year.

@ Schwifty K: I'm having a brilliant time with this scenario! Best one yet!
But: I've reached steel making and I am running out of people. I get the odd child turning up here and there (I only have Apollo and 5 old male slaves) and at least 3/4 of my women are old.) With the raiding parties getting bigger, they are slaughtering my fighting women in droves with every attack, and there seems to be no way to replace them quick enough. I've geared them up with the best tools and armour, but far too many are still dying.

Am I missing something about getting replacements? Is the welfare of the village tied in with births? I'm almost at the end of the scenario, but I may not make it if I can't get more women. :{

Advice, please.

You need thatching unlocked to build stables with a roof made from straw.

Playing with the beta version of the game, when unlocking Goats, I'm unable to build stables.

:D Some times it is not that obvious, but the kids smelling your dried meat for example will come after you unlocked food drying and dried some meat. Give it one more try! Play humble and wise to lead your tribe into a great future!

There seems to be more too it than new techs though. i was getting "Half frozen woman saw you fire and joined." "Hungry woman smelled your food stores and joined" etc at random times pushing my numbers way up out of nowhere.
There was no timing the random events like that.

This scenario works a bit different than the base game.

You might have noticed, that people join when you unlock new techs - time it right.
There is no regular migration, only births. Good Luck!

Me: "Ok My tribe is low on food but my population is higher than my housing so i wont get new births nor people arriving phew, time to get to work improving food supply."
Scenario: "Well now....... Thats aya...... very fine settlement you got there...... ahyup. Wouldn't it be a shame if.....oh.... i dont know? 30 MORE WOMAN ARRIVED REGARDLESS OF BEING OVER POPULATION!? AHAHAHAHA!"
Me: "Well shit. Now i cant house, clothe nor feed them all and yet still the games pushing more and more of them on me, how can i be getting more people when my population looks like this: Housing space: 21, Population: 58?"

No achievements, just goals. They get revealed while you play. You can "recycle" Buildings and build what you want, where you want. I think this type of scenario might not be your cup of tea.

Theres no achievements the starting layout of your village sucks and i dunno cant get past the first 3 minutes because of that

I had fun with this mod. It's very realistic; the starting women spend the first few seasons arguing about dried skin fashions, the newest Paleo diet tips and who keeps leaving the seat up over the open waste pit.

Make sure they have living space :D otherwise they will get tired or die.

The normal immigration is switched off. More people come after certain time intervals and with new technologies. Is it a serious problem?
