"Don't mind me, I'm just taking this vile mechanical to the garbage dump, hail Okran!"
However, my mod posted below lets Doll player characters create any other type of Doll, including Abnormal Dolls.
1. Does donating to the independent doll fighters do anything? I didn't notice any relationship change, but that could be some kind of conflict
2. Is there any way to recruit Abnormal Dolls? I feel like i've only ever seen them in the hostile faction.
Also plugging that I made an AOM patch for the Dolls c: : https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1630760930
Thanks so much!

It's separate from my previous Insemination mod. It allows current doll characters to introduce new doll characters, of all types into the world.

Example of how it was achieved with the Juggernauts: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2152464377
We're thinking that a Doll of a certain model could get "scanned" by the Institute's techs, and they would produce 1-4 Dolls of that variant in exchange. I'm personally thinking of keeping things quite vague: The character gets scanned, told to return later, and then some Dolls appear calling the character mother/father. Let me know if there is any objection or advice.
If not, I'll see what I can do about it eventually - and link it to you or w/e
They do not, idk why, I can't really fix it
@Flesh Forge
I'm aware of the text problem but fixing it will be a huge pain in the ass, mistakes were made.
It's a singleplayer game, if you feel exploiting a glitch ruins the experience, just don't. Nothing forces you to.
The skin color thing is a good idea, I'll take it under consideration.
Dolls are more common than skeletons, but weaker, they're meant to be a more common type of android that is inferior to skeletons.
I put the recruitable characters there for purposes of roleplaying. You can just decide when it is appropriate to recruit them based on the story you are trying to play out.
The high level starts are intended to be identical to roaming squads of the same faction you start as. The idea is you start as a member of that faction with the same skills and abilities the NPCs have and jump right into the action.
- more color range in skin tone, maybe the baseline models all might be within a narrow range but the other variants don't really have any reason to be limited in skin color
- the big camps filled with recruitable dolls feels really out of whack with the rest of the game, basically whenever you feel like growing your squad size you can hire as many as you want. I don't mind this a whole lot from a gameplay perspective but if they're supposed to have a similar origin to skeletons, they should be similarly rare as recruitable characters.
- they start with way too much high value gear, I hired a couple of recruits and they were carrying more than enough value of loot to make a profit from hiring them and just selling their stuff and kicking them out.
- starting skills in the 40s and up is very excessive and again out of whack with practically all of the vanilla recruitables
@Savageocelot it would be easy to make a patch, I'd recommend learning yourself or asking the guy who made the hairstyle mods.
