Tried to open the save but a few assets called "UK roads" are missing. It's not on workshop anymore, and not found in dropbox file either.
I have Macwelshman's UK roads project installed but those don't help

I managed to open it in 2021 with 16GBs of RAM.

Here's what I did:
1. Subscribe to the official Cork City savegame above.

2. Subscribe to these Mods:
Mod1: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=903285221
Mod2: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2040656402

3. Open the game and enable the “Auto-Enable Mods” mod.
Content manager -> Mods -> look for “Auto-Enable Mods” -> enable it

4. Close the game

5. Subscribe to the required collections mentioned in the description above.

6. Unsubscribe from the following MODs:

Mod2: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=574674741

7. Open steam and wait for the assets to be downloaded (~1.5GBs).

8. Download, extract and copy the required local files mentioned in the description above.

9. Change Windows 10 paging file size (even if you have 32 GBs of RAM).

You should set the paging file size to x2 the size of your RAM.
You will need to restart your device after.

10. Open the game -> Options -> Loading Screen Mod ->
Enable all the following 3 options: (you have to re-enable these if you close the game)
"Remove all vehicle agents"
"Remove all citizen agents"
"Try recovering from simulation errors"

11. Get back to the main menu -> load game -> choose cork city savegame.
It might take some time to open, just leave your device for a while (even if it looks frozen).

The game should load without any errors if you have followed the steps carefully.

You'll need at 64gb RAM setup. Loading takes all of my 32GB and freezes up.

Can't get this to work... subscribed to all the necessary resources, installed the recommended files, but it seems to have over 200 missing elements and crashes as soon as it opens.

For those who are unable to load this, try loading it in Safe Mode with Loading Screen Mod.

To do this, enable all 3 options: "Remove all vehicle agents", "Remove all citizen agents" and "Try recovering from simulation errors" in the Loading Screen mod settings.

This is the only way I've been able to come back to this savegame after many months, so I hope it helps. Please let me know.

This was sent to me by a Swedish friend asking how accurate it is.

The level of detail here is amazing, I realised this as soon as I came across a picture of Mahon Point and saw my house in that little shithole scum ridden neighborhood of Mahon.

Very well done, great to see this after living abroad for 4+ years.

All I get is a light blue screen. And my computer is fully capable of running a game this large.

It also depends on your RAM to. You should set your paging file as much as 1.5 times your PHYSICAL MEMORY to 3.5 times as much as your PHYSICAL MEMORY. So I have 16gb of RAM. I cant run this bc this requires 32 GIGS, my paging file is 32 GIGS ( 2 times 16), so the assets will be stored on the paging file but will run them slower.

@thegron the pagefile is a slow version of RAM... It will help prevent crashes bc it will store more assets but your performance will drop drastically. Your game wont run out of memory bc of your paging file, but will be INSANELY SLOW!

Just FYI, you may be able to run it if you increase your page file memory a lot to compensate for not having 32 GB of RAM (since that's insane).
