It's a game, so people naturally like having the ability to interact with objects, to fire guns and drive vehicles. I understand why people want it, even if it means nothing to me personally.

No, it's compiled for the Source engine, so naturally it's not compatible with Unity. If you want the model for use in Unity, I recommend you get the original model from Battlefield 1.

Should work in SFM as is, it was compiled with the SFM tools.

Yes, but like the weapons, they have engine-generate diffuse textures and I don't have the patience to create those, not anymore.
