Russia or China successfully invading the U.S. is about as implausible as North Korea invading South Korea, but at this point, it feels like about half of all modern war stories ever told (games, movies, tv, etc.) involve one of these two scenarios.

what South Korea is worried about is NKorea's suicide type attack (artillery barrage on Seoul) that would cause a lot of civilian casualty. No one is worried about North Korea actually invading South Korea.

lol South Korea has 7th strongest military in the world. North Korea with 30th. North Korea wouldn't even be able to make it past their own GP as South Korea has all kinds of detections that automatically activate carpet bombing entire North Korea. It would be a miracle if North Korea can even touch the DMZ
