Can you determine which other mod(s) are the cause, so I can look into adding compatibility eventually?
If I remove all these new mods from the mod-list the problems still remains. (crafting recipe do not accept small stones and I can't put large stones in the stonemasons table (my old stonemasons table still stands from when the mod was working)).
I hope there is a fix, because I really like this mod.
If yes, it might be a mod conflict issue, since it is working just fine on my end.
I have no idea why this happens, but I can confirm that the _cm texture is missing. Double checked the MWMs and blend files and seems all good (it's using the vanilla blocksheet_02 sheet)
"oh and chisles dont seem to show up in bags and so on sometimes"
You mean lootbags?
End up blowing through a large number of chisels. They're 2 ingots each and even a steel chisel only lasts you around three inventories of stone.
Currently, the chisels have the following durabilities:
Copper: 50, Iron: 75, Steel: 100.
I might bump up the iron : steel ratio at the very least, though, I do not plan to add yet another chisel (bronze), since I think 3+1 different ones are already plenty.
Regarding broken items: I wish I could add those to toolheads, but unfortunately, that's only possible for handtools, so when they break, they are gone.
The only thing I could add is a crafting recipe for the furnace to melt chisels back to i.e. metal parts anytime. You'd have to have an eye on the durability of your chisels then and melt them before they break.
I have to agree with Bahroth though, that is the chisel's don't last long and are a waste of resources. Could you not alter the mod so that we reuse the material that the chisel is made of - like the hammers, pickaxes etc.
Thanks for this.
I've just got 2 small grievances with the mod,no bronze chisel, and the overall chisel durability.
The way the mod is right now, why bother wasting steel when two iron ingots work better.
Atm the iron ratio from a full craft is about 2 whole crafts (full inventory of large stones)
Whilst steel on the other hand, is a whopping 2.6
This feature was implemented in vanilla, but never actually used, so we never tested it thoroughly. Shad's the first one to use it. :D
Great Idea and very, very nice artwork, ist looks really nice.
Even though KEEN added a stamp mill recently which allows you to cut large stones in a more pre-industrial manner, I like the Idea to cut large stones into small pieces with a hammer and a chisel . Great Idea and very immersive imho. So I instantly added your mod to my list and whenever I have a need for small stones I'll do that in your nice looking stonecutting workshop, except if I'm about to cut hundreds of large stones which would be probably better done in the stamp mill. ;)
Again, thank you very much.
